If you've played Dow40k: FoK then there's not much we need to tell you Minor Summary - Bring squad sizes in line with codex but keeping them manageable with regard to pathing and such. - Bring weapon ranges, rates of fire, and damage inline with codex while keeping in mind this is an RTS here. - Bring unit HP, armour types, and movement rates in line with codex while, again, keeping in mind this is an RTS.
Glows/ damage is tempory and may be scrapped depending on how it looks ingame. Ancient and battle damage or brand spanking repaired. Its hard to choose.

Are you going to include new codex units like the Lychguard and the praetorian? Just curious since it would actually put more variety in the Necron builds.

glow is going to be team colurable or somethng like that.
If the Necrons auto repair themselves, then sparcling would fit. But battlemarks fit too.
However it all depends on how far they repair themselves, to woring conddition or to brand new.
I'd say ask some necron fans about this.
I myself would be more of a fan of battle-damaged. Or maybe only make models that just stood up from being killed have battle damage? I bet that would involve some difficult coding though.
vehicles have a look based on damaged state, like wrecks etc. Should be possible to code into the model.
