The problem is your adding it and blocking more screen. Look at this pic from a Beta mod that adds the SHOC hud. It does not use too much space and features like how it shows what artefacts your using are great (The Compasses have negative rad for testing). I've been thinking about using this hud for a while instead of TGZ's as I have been because most off the mods nowadays only use HUD's from a select few and there all starting to look the same.
