You play as Gordon Freeman.

Before the events in Half-Life 2, before having the Alien Slaves/Vortigaunt as allies, the G-Man decides to test your skills and drops you in the middle of a combine occupied area.

You find yourself on the run again...

DAVSub Source is a single player only mod for Half-Life 2 based on DAVSub for Half-Life.

DAVSub Source features:

  • 10 maps, all made by Davide 'DAV' Cintrão
  • Alien Slaves/Vortigaunt are your enemies.
  • Half-Life 2 game style.
  • New models.
  • New Sounds.
  • New Graphics.

It a good thing the website blog posts are fairly recent, however the mod description should be updated to reflect the fact that your using the Orange Box for DAVsub source. Not everybody bothers to check websites like I do.
