Dark Zone is a real-time strategy for the PC that uses the complex Homeworld 2 engine to take players a century into the future and puts them in command of Earth's galactic forces and the future of mankind as you fight against unlikely chances of surviving the onslaught of the Overseers tyranny.
DarkZone Files & Semi-Release
DarkZone is a dead mod, and instead of simply keeping it filling my HardDrive, I thought this could serve people better by releasing what I had to the public.

Let's be honest,
Most mods die and burn long before any release is even in sight, and most of them take all the hard work that was put into the dead mod with them, this can happen to even the best mods and has happened to DarkZone.
This is the reason why I have decided to give the community everything I had created for this mod, including all the models/ textures/ maps/ animations/ scripts and a semi-release. This could serve people new to modding and even mods needing more content.
All I ask is that if you are to use any of my work that you at least email me and give credit where needed, Cheers!

Very nice of you, Stuff like this could very well help a great many other people and I commend you for doing so. Thank you for the valuable resource and I shall be sure to pick through it at my earliest convenience.
Have you considered putting all the code under some kind of open source license? Creative Commons might be good for licenses on original content such as models and textures.
well it sucks when a mod dies. I am glad that you are doing this. It makes all that work that was put into the mod sort of worth it atleast.
