Dark Territory 2 mod for Half-Life 2

Dark Territory ][ is a sci-fi, FPS mod, running on Source engine.
The plot is fairly abstracted of the first part's plot and it completely denies first part's universe.

Mod genre: Sci-fi, detective story.

Planned gameplay duration 4-6 hours

Expected number of maps: Not defined yet, but not many. (Gameplay time will be spent through logical puzzles solving, with a necessarity to move between the maps)

New weapons: Armoury is planned to be completely changed. Some weapons may be changed only visually, while the code is not affected... Howewer, mod will emphasize not weapons, but logic and, someway, stealth.

Plot: In the first episode, experimental biorobot was made from the unlucky G.Freeman, who slept in cryocamera for 600 years more than he needed, and sent to a test mission of investigating the reasons of losing a connection to space station "Novastorm". During the mission, G. Freeman's mind overcomes robot's program, and he gains freedom of the will. Then, during the mod gameplay, the robot seeks his return to the Earth and revenge the company created him. His journey brings him to alien temple on Taudilus planet, where teleport appears, which, supposedly, leads to the Earth. The player enters the portal...
Here the first episode ends and the second starts. The robot has successfully come through the portal. He leaves the temple, which is far more bigger than that he had entered... And understands he is not on the Earth. Lately he finds out that he is in unexplored part of space. So, his goal doesn't change - return to the Earth and, by the way, make his revenge to corporation. Howewer, in this new world he would not only seek those who will help him, he will have to oppose society, which will see him not as simple foreign element, but an explicit threat to alliance stability.

In game the following innovations are planned:

• Different endings. Choose the way. Finish a history on the middle, or find boldness, to go to the end.
• Unexpected screenplay turns.
• Many logic riddles and puzzles.
• Innovative system of dialogue with NPC.
• Sendings to known science-fiction films, books and games.
• Necessity to remember passwords, logins and etc.

Development of game only began, therefore is ready very little.
