Well our silence has been broken, what's new you may ask, quite a bit actually. Firstly our site has been given its due face lift, with a domain change and host move to boot. You can keep up to date with all the goings on at our new domain www.dark-source.com and out new forums at www.forums.dark-source.com
Now for news about the actual mod, we have moved to episodic content the task of making dark source a full mod will take years, and we would really like to get you some playable material so us focusing on episodic content allows us to streamline the development per episode. On the content front we have a series of models from our art department including a amazing set of hands by B11, but no map shots we are keeping them till our next update.
Also we would like to wish ourselves a happy 2nd birthday, we are happy to still be alive and kicking after 2 years.
Regards
Dark Source Dev Team

wait, wasn't this stand alone for a while...?
so confused...
my first post on the mods moddb comments section :)
Why on earth do you think this is dead? The forums are active... so is the site.... O_o
*prod.. your mod looks cool.
and they're too slow
OK i love this mod
everything looks great(perhaps a bit high ambitions but ok)
But please whatever you do
Do not use the half life zombies, they look so stupid that everything scary dies
for instance when i played ravenholm i was bored to tears every once in a while
so please, Just don't
This mod is looking like a real piece of work (in a good way). Love the dramatic imagery, and the character concepts. Love to see some renders of the characters, but in any case, this mod is looking pretty awesome. Can't wait to play it!
PLS DON'T DIE THIS IS A FUCKING GREAT MOD!
Sounds like it'll be worth while. Can't wait for some updates.
Sorry to nitpick but in the profile: "2010 is a year many will remember as being the day the world stood still." 2010 is a year not a day, so you can't say the day stood still. Sorry, just sounds a bit off as the first sentence in your profile. Loving the progress, keep up the great work...
