Well our silence has been broken, what's new you may ask, quite a bit actually. Firstly our site has been given its due face lift, with a domain change and host move to boot.You can keep up to date with all the goings on at our new domain www.dark-source.com and out new forums at www.forums.dark-source.com
Now for news about the actual mod, we have moved to episodic content the task of making dark source a full mod will take years, and we would really like to get you some playable material so us focusing on episodic content allows us to streamline the development per episode. On the content front we have a series of models from our art department including a amazing set of hands by B11, but no map shots we are keeping them till our next update.
Also we would like to wish ourselves a happy 2nd birthday, we are happy to still be alive and kicking after 2 years.

I want to see more of the amazing mapwork!
I take it that your realistic aim system will not have crosshairs and will require you to look through ironsights to shoot straight, right? If so, you should implement some sort of auto aim up close (if this is possible) because in real life you don't miss when shooting at someone 10 feet away, and without crosshairs I've found its easy to shoot far away, but a crapshoot up close (in mods like Insurgency and Smod). Of course, if gameplay is slower, it shouldn't matter.
yeah, i am all for an auto-close-up-aiming system too XD. so "source" is like a mind controlling tranqulizer?
