A tragedy has occurred. William, a Swedish engineer, wakes up in a hospital bed. The memory of what has happened is blurred, but the scream from his wife and the perpetrator's menacing voice echoing in his head. Once he decides to step up, he discovers that the hospital is deserted. Blood is smeared on the floors and walls, doors and stairs are blocked and everything seems to be pure chaos. What is going on?

Dark Case V.2:

- Fixed the typo in the intro
- Save cassattes should work better now
- Gasdeath will no longer make the player slower
- Added a skybox
- More signs added to make it easier to navigate
- Fixed some glitches in the hospital maps
- A few more bonuskeys added and a bit easier to find

I've already played like 55 minutes of it (cut in a couple of parts) so I can pretty much give a review/rating already. From the moment I heard you will be making a new story in which you will put all your effort I knew this thing will be something. And you didn't let me down :) I've said it on various occasions and I'll say it again - for me Marcus/Kaernk is the best Amnesia custom story developer. This story has a really good balance of atmosphere/scares/story-telling. The ideas that are in this story (even if not of great importance) is something to be proud of. I honestly think this is the only story with such manual. I can keep talking more but I'll wait till I finish it :) So far - amazing.

Here's the last part of my let's play!( it' an one hour let's play so... enjoy i guess :P):

This was the best custom story i have played so far! The atmosphere was amazing, the scares was awesome, awesome story (except some plot holes for example what happend to his wife ((or maybe i just didn't hear it)). But overall it was very good. I loved the idea about the walk-through note (Even though it removed let's players part of it completely XD) I used it a lot in the end so i could cheat against the boss 8D. I'm also a big fan of custom stuff not just the old original amnesia stuff, so you won my heart immediately! I would give this a 10/10 and that is what it's worth if you ask me!

I would love to see more of your work in the future so please contact me when you have something! :D

You are actually not completely stuck, you can move, although the speed is getting slower and slower the more damage you get and once you touch the death trigger, you will die even if you somehow manage to leave the area, which in my opinion is realistic I mean, if you get poisoned or badly burned, you are in deep trouble even with small amounts of it. But the main purpose with the slow speed thing was to prevent players from simply running to the other side, turn the valve and skip the whole sewer map. Okay, you need the lighter from the sewer, but still, all quests would be in the wrong order.

One solution is to simply make sure the speed goes back to normal even if you die on the other side. Another solution is to give small damage if you touch it and a higher damage amount if you go further and that will eventually kill you. If you turn around in time, you can still make it.

Just finshed it and I must say that I didn`t thought that it would be so good! You realy worked hard on this project and you should be proud. Here are the list of the good stuff and things you should improve: "SPOILERS" GOOD: -The story was awesome, the felling that you didn´t know what was going on and why strange things where happening was very cool, You mixed mystery, tension and horror like a boss xd - The "interact with all" idea.
