You can tell this was made for Counter-Strike (:

I would suggest adding a "what team am I on" "something". Maybe just a small red/blue block at the very top left or something.

Well, we assume players at least know what team they are on :)

But, another nice feature we have is your teammates money and health on the scoreboard, which means a lot less typing during freezetime and should help strat callers make better on the fly decisions about what to do if something doesn't go as planned.

=)

Yeah, I figured that was gonna come sooner or later too. However, I do still feel that it's hard for some people to figure out what team they're on.

Perhaps change the life color to red/blue and or the vest/helm color.

WHAT? How can you not know what team you're on? There are 2 spawns in each map and hopefully you remember where you spawned, and if you're unsure check the scoreboard, takes half a second..

I don't really have that problem. Maybe like once or twice a year, if that :P I'm just saying it would help, even if slightly.

You could just make the first person sleeves look different.Always wondered why the heck valve never did that in the original cs:s.Ct and t have the same hands from first person view. This would be the best solution to know what team you are on.It would be cool too.Make the sleeves on ct green like their clothes =)

I think a team-clored HUD would solve solve the problem. But hands are good idea, too. I don't know hwy don't games like hl2dm have team/player-specific hands.

So i will get a monitoring and if something goes wrong i will be able to say what player should stay with me and what player should take the second route to B while we keep the enemys busy ?

Well, hit the +showscores and see in what team you are is not so difficult and you definitly dont need to check it every round :)

I joined this site just to post in this thread....

Are u people really having this discussion? trying to know what team ur on? are u serious?

Its called hitting the Tab button....less than .5 seconds u know what team ur on.

but on that note its nice to see that newer players are interested as well as the people that have been playing the game as long as I have...just sad that u really asked that question.

It's a small/simple(Well probably not really) feature that could have a good impact on the game. It'll help newer players and players that have been playing 18 hours that day.

I'll tell you what would help someone who has played cs for 18 hours in one day - a better hobby

nice HUD, but it feels like the player is 3ft tall...

Being able to tell if a player is touching you or if you're touching a wall would be a nice feature. Probably take a lot to code and unsure about the badwidth needed...
