NOTE: OBSOLETE MOD FOR OBSOLETE GAME. JUST DOWNLOAD LOST ALPHA INSTEAD. Greetings, Stalker! Welcome to CS Remix! Description

NOTE: OBSOLETE MOD FOR OBSOLETE GAME! JUST DOWNLOAD LOST ALPHA INSTEAD. Compilation of Mystery, CS Complete, CS Remix, Absolute Nature, Gnomus scopes, additional guns from Misery, and much more. I'm not trying to steal work or credit or anything, I just figured this would be a nice thing to do since there weren't any mod packs comparable to Oblivion Lost for SoC, or Misery or SMRTER for CoP. Mystery has great atmosphere, but lacks new gameplay features. CS Complete atmosphere isn't as good as Mystery, and lacks things like new guns. So I wanted to make a great modpack for CS. See more below.

Hi boredgunner. I think I have some problems with my guns:
The iron sight alignment isn't right with the Saiga. The aiming point where the iron sight should be is too low, like the LR 300 in vanilla.
The M24 green dragon has a PSO-1 scope on it.

"OBSOLETE MOD FOR OBSOLETE GAME! JUST DOWNLOAD LOST ALPHA INSTEAD."?

Lost alpha is a mod or a restoration of the Shadow of Chernobyl while Clear Sky is a stand alone game by the devs of stalker series.

Lost alpha does not replace Clear Sky.

And still, I found out that LA is pretty annoying, really not worth our time, compared to any other stalker game!!!

You know, you should remove the "mod obsolete" thing, I've played lost alpha a lot lately, and it has been nothing but a disappointment, so I'm turning back to CS, since I was going to play it before LA came out, and again, your mod became a lot more relevant!!!

Sorry to double post, lost my 5 minutes edit time limit...

I just installed your mod, and something went VERY wrong, whenever I try to open the options stuff, the game just CTD, I mean, only when I try to open options screen, if you leave at the main screen, nothing happens, perhaps this has something to do with that image that appears there?
I dunno, maybe physics is broken, any Ideas on how to fix this?

I had this problem with conflicting mods. Maybe delete your user.ltx file in Public Documents\stalker-cs folder and try again.

Actually I found out the source of the problem, it was the KB2670838 update that bugged out the DX10 setting of the game, I removed it and the mod run just fine, with no problems, at least for the few hours I've played...
Anyway, sorry for not posting that I found the solution, I stopped playing after that, had some other stuff to do, kinda busy to play these days!!!

Hello Boredgunner,

Many thx and congrats on your perfect mod, which i've been playing and enjoying through for about a week now.

I was wondering if we could add to your weaponlist an M-134 minigun, that i very much enjoyed shooting with from another mod called The Warmongers v.2.18. I only managed to mod the shots sound of it into something more minigun-ey (which was not a difficult thing to do...)

Could it be possible to extract the w_m134.ltx and all the rest of its components and make it work in our mod as well.

Please tell me what you think :)

You can probably add it, but you'd have to do more than just put the w_m134.ltx file into the weapons folder of this mod pack. You'll also have to complete the following steps:

- Make weapons.ltx point to w_m134.ltx like it points to all the other weapon files
- Make sure the ammo type defined in w_m134.ltx is an existing ammo type (you can find all ammo types in weapons.ltx)
- Add an icon for it to ui_icon_equipment.dds which is found in gamedata/textures
- Add the M134's sound files, meshes, and textures to Mod Pack 2012.
- Make it available in trader inventories.

Dear BoredGunner,

Thank you ever so much for your list of steps!

You see these are my first unsteady steps into modding something and making it work, and being a I.T. tech with next to zero experience in coding, my knowledge does not help me much.

I will follow your steps and keep you posted of my progress if you like.

p.s.: I know that comparing to all the other well-ballanced weapons, this minigun is highly unrealistic (should have a MASSIVE recoil in real life) and at certain points a bit unfair against enemies (you can spray a hail of bullets at a group behind a bush and you don't even have to pray - all of them will be dead for sure).

Thank you again for the reply and the notes - you da man! ;)
