I'm not trying to steal work or credit or anything, I just figured this would be a nice thing to do since there weren't any mod packs comparable to Oblivion Lost for SoC, or Misery or SMRTER for CoP. Mystery has great atmosphere, but lacks new gameplay features. CS Complete atmosphere isn't as good as Mystery, and lacks things like new guns. So I wanted to make a great modpack for CS. Whenever i start a new game it crashes to desktop while loading. It doesnt seem connected to graphics settings since ive tried changing everything. Any tips on that?

Hi, just came across your mod, and just wondering how did you fix the savefile corruption issue (g_script).

I've been playing with CS Complete but when I got to Agroprom the game crashed with the error
! [LUA][ERROR] ERROR: You are saving too much
and log ends with :
[error]Arguments : LUA error: ....t.a.l.k.e.r. - clear sky\gamedata\scripts\_g.script:975: bad argument #2 to 'format' (string expected, got nil)

So that's when I started over again and found your mod. I installed your mod but to be honest I don't really like the weather system (always dark and gloomy and rarely sunshine and super heavy fog and thunderstorm like every hour), the 30kg weight limit, and the fact the starting CS trader sells late-game weapons, and for some reason I can no longer sell weapons to NPCs other than Traders... =\ I do like the realistic guns a lot though.

So could you tell me which files I should copy over into CS Complete to fix that savefile corruption bug? I really don't mean to diss your mod or anything but the heavy overcast/dark weather system is really kinda depressing to play with. =\

I wish I could remember. I found the solution on GSC game forums though, so maybe if you keep searching you'll find it. Users SetaKat or david.m.e here on ModDB probably know the solution off-hand though, so you could try asking them.

Hey BD!I first want to mention that I got a lot of crashes in the first place,but after I changed the graphics to minumum,it's working fine,if you don't press F9 to quickload after you die.I don't know if this is the reason,because my system should be good enough to run the high settings,but well the only way to run it so far without crashing is on min specs.Does anyone know how to enable npc's to trade weapons and ammo?

I get crash after crash after crash!I tried changing to enhanced full lightning,object,dx 10 lightning,but it crashs down on me.Every time I quicksave or quickload especially.I tried normal saving,but it crashes when I want to load it.How can I play if I have 90% chances for the game to crash whenever I save or load......

Don't know if I'm the only one but my weapons/ammo description are absent, the m1891 has the gnomus PSO scope, and it seemed a little strange that the first trader at the clear sky base has all the weapons including the EM1 sort of gauss gun, could someone tell me if it's supposed to be like that?

Quick question, I want to use this mod for a new CS playthrough, but in the last one I used a mod to enable all armor/weapon upgrades (i.e, they are not mutually exclusive anymore so the whole tree can be filled). I had a few questions, as my knowledge of CS modding is fairly null:

1) The new weapons/armor use new upgrade trees, or draw from the same files as the vanilla items?
2) Did you make any changes to the upgrade trees (apart from removing the magazine upgrades) If so, which?
3) Overwriting the config/misc/outfit_upgrades and config/weapons/upgrades will revert the upgrade trees, or will there be another incompatibility (such as, broken upgrades, or the effects being stored in another file; the other mod had also weapon files and outfits.ltx to edit artifact slots)

I know these are a lot of questions, but I just want to make sure nothing blows up in my computer...again.

1) Yeah they use the same upgrade trees.

2) I fixed some inconsistencies and errors in the upgrades, that didn't do what they were supposed to do. Otherwise, I just changed a few stats around; as in they change the same things, but in different amounts.

3) This could lead to broken upgrades and therefore crashes.

Checking through the upgrades, weapon stats are edited, so the new weapons with the old upgrade trees work fine; however, the new armors with the old upgrade trees have some of their stats replaced for what I read: durability replacers work by substituting the corresponding outfit_immunities_sect, so you might need to create another upgrade tree for said armors, or contact the original mod maker to do so (if those armors are part of one of the mods included in the pack)

Now that I played for 12 hours with the mod, I can give an honest opinion: graphs got a HUGE bump, I have constant 50 FPS on a 2- year old laptop, even in heavy gunfight, no crashes or bugs...and gameplay is still the same as vanilla CS, so this is a major overhaul to the original game which keeps its features properly. Good job!.

The only issue I have is the aforementioned upgrade chaos, but I looked and it seems to be a bug of the display menu rather than the upgrades, so forger about it. The other problem is that most traders sell the mod-added weapons and armor REALLY early: i got the Freedom Exoskeleton right after taking a detour to the Dark Valley to avoid mugging, and though I can't complain...well, it is a little overpowered so early in the game, and vendors sell/buy it in a 1/1 price ratio. Is that intended?

Hey man the mode is awesome .. i have one complain though .. some weapons degradation fact is zero , they are 100% condition , i been playing around with that shotgun of yours , something88.. after 4 hours of gameplay the son of a bitch is 100% wep condition :( .. can you check that bro ?

I just got back into STALKER universe after 2 years. I just finished Shadow of Cernobyl with AA2 and now i moved to Clear Sky. I want to ask if this mod contains Sky Reclamation Project, beside all those mods mentioned in description.

They should be in the readme file with the download. They're tiny little hotfixes, I can't even remember what off the top of my head. I imagine some fixes from Sky Reclamation Project are included, but not all.

As someone already mentioned, the game looks washed out, even when i i put it on maximum settings, and is not nearly as pretty looking as vanilla, probably due to a Mistery mod. Thats the first that fell into my eyes so it bothers me. the music and sounds and some other tweaks are great thou

I have a problem with the silencers. i cant attach any silencer to any of the pistols. I have only some moded silencers available from the trader and they won't work with any of the pistols i found so far. Is there a fix for this, or maybe a list of silencer compatibility ? :D

When folder gamedata is extracking to my game localization in half of the process it says "it stopped working" (winrar) I had it 2 times in the row , now Im doing it again after computer restart . Any solutions for that ?

Hi boredgunner, is there any way for me to merge CS: Complete's gamedata files with this mods to get iron sights for pistols? I play w/o crosshairs so it's impossible to hit anything without sights. I prefer your mod's great atmosphere over complete, but I really like iron sights.

It would be time consuming and easy to mess up. I was planning on doing it, but now that Lost Alpha comes out April 26th... there is really no need. I don't see any reason to revisit Clear Sky once Lost Alpha is out.

So far so good, tough I have to say that the birdshot is extremely strong against unarmored targets. This may be because it's so centered, compared to buckshot. Haven't tried it against anything heavier than military troops, and those die in one shot.

All creatures so far up to bloodsucker have died in one shot as well, kind of fun to see everything drop that fast. On other hand on master difficulty with this mod, I've experienced quite a few deaths, especially when leaving towards cordon against that damn machine-gunner.

Only complaint would be the very low starting weigh at 30KG, I'd prefer something like 40 instead. Guess I'll have few more pointers once I proceed pass the garbage area, which I'm currently in, in the progress of the Fang quest.

Strongest monster killed so far with two shots by birdshot is a pseudogiant. I believe the birdshot should be tweaked so it looses strength once it reached a threshold. Also it would be preferable to reduce the damage a bit as well.

Artifacts doesn't seem to respawn at all, which is kind of a shame. I would like them to respawn after each emission just as in CoP. This would make sense since emissions changes the zone and kind of "charges" anomalies.

Few upgrades for the AK variant weapons will accept PSO-1 x4 scope, but when upgrading it wont change existing(RDS) scope on one of the AK weapons to an x1.6 one. Several AK weapons will accept the x4 scope, but none of the 1.6 upgrades work.

Also some gun upgrades will give you nothing in return. The bulat armor(disguised as an exo), allows for two artifact upgrades, yet it starts with four out of five. Meaning one upgrade is wasted.

Shooting the R700 once and then quickly press the button while it reloads, will make it shoot automatically the next time a bullet is ready. This is kind of annoying.

I've experienced some odd issues with the wish granter in the CS Complete mod. When using the "map" function instead of the normal guide, you'll create a bug where when you enter that area where you teleported from next time, you will get "move to another area" screen. It will pop up every ten second or so.

Overall quite stable mod, only had few crashes(2-3) for unknown reasons. I recommend this compilation of mods, even if it has its flaws.

Friend, I dunno how to thank you for this. TYVM, man!
I am playing the SoC with your Mod pack 2013 and just can't get enough of it! It's just great! Truth, I have played only the SoC Complete Mod before that and, truth to say, now that I pay more attention to browsing various other SoC mods, I just don't think I need to try any other mods, at least not yet.
So, as a dedicated Fallout and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. player, I say a BIG
