In the upcoming weeks we will be uploading screenshots and videos demonstrating what to expect from the mod.

After watching our first mod crash and burn we have learnt a lot about what people expect and what they want. So this time we will be aiming to release the mod in a series of release candiates until it has reached completion.

I don't understand. Why not finish Crysis co-op, then move on to the 2nd Crysis? I want to play them both Co-op!

The summary for this mod makes no sense. You say you're enabling AI for the multiplayer (which, from what I understand, doesn't even use the same maps) and that you thus intend for co-op in the singleplayer campaign missions.

????

I am pretty sure they are saying they can't add multiple players to campaign, so they are adding AI to MP instead and just porting the campaign maps over to MP and changing up how the MP works to suit SP level.

Thanks to Illusive, as I was generally left uncertain where they were leading. While your explanation is sensical (and what they're doing), I was worried they might be doing something else entirely. It was generally a gray area to me.

That's how most co-op mods work. Such a system does have limitations but that's how alot of mods do it. The real test is in execution and design.

Step 1. Add AI to multiplayer
Step 2. Add SP maps to multiplayer
Step 3. Make levels change correctly and fix spawns for players
Step 4. Publish

I think that's how they're doing it and it's a perfect plan.

That's almost exactly what we are doing at the moment.

Though, after we get the campaign completed, we might add in some custom maps, too. Maybe even allow user submitted maps to be a part of the project.

the nano suit character model is ugly and retarded. i suggest you switch it with that of a marine and then disable the other suit functions. to hell with story, it's a ****** cliche anyway.
