You wake up in a dark alley, not knowing anything. What has happened anyway? You struggle after the truth and answers. Answers you want to know in the darkness and fear, which makes your heartbeat race like violent blows against your head. Where do "they" come from? What has happened? Are you just turning insane? The time is up; you can't stay there reading your smses forever. It's time to head out and find the answers.
Cry of Fear is a singleplayer modification of Half-Life 1 which brings you the horror you've always been afraid of.
It's a total conversion of Half-Life 1, which means it uses NO half-life 1 content or other peoples' files. It's all made exclusively by the developers. It also uses new gaming styles that you will rarely find in Half-Life mods, such as advanced cutscenes and other stuff that will be revealed at a later date.

Well, I might just post a news of this, so you don't wonder why Cry of Fear will be quite inactive (on the mapping part).
Okay, my PC broke, and I'm unable to work on the mod. I believe it might have been caused by overheating or something. So I tried my old PC instead, the one I had when I made AOM and etc, but guess what, it fucking died too! So then I borrowed my moms laptop, and some stupid drivers made that shit die too (vista). So here I'm sitting, with some stupid PC made of wood, waiting for my proper PC to get repaired. And it will take about 1 month for it to get fixed.
Although, I did make a backup of everything, so don't worry.
Hopefully you will get to see some updates from the other members while this shit is getting fixed.
Stay tuned!

3 Computers broke? That's not even fair lol.
Yeah it's really gay.
Damn, that's pretty bad!
...this is on half life 1?
WOW.
Andreas, you are a sexy man.
i agree with you on that sometimes it just doesn't work out how ever if you think of it realistically it does seem pretty cool but its to much work. either way we get to play so thiers no reason for us to complain.
No you wouldn't have to code any shaders. However, you would have to animate all the player's movements, which is really annoying and boring.
I find it neat to see my feet if I look down but this is a hl1 mod and that isnt needed.
Agreed, F.E.A.R's full body awareness was neat but didn't work too well at times and kinda seemed fake. There's certainly no need for it in CoF, a waste of coding imho.
