You wake up in a dark alley, not knowing anything. What has happened anyway? You struggle after the truth and answers. Answers you want to know in the darkness and fear, which makes your heartbeat race like violent blows against your head. Where do "they" come from? What has happened? Are you just turning insane? The time is up; you can't stay there reading your smses forever. It's time to head out and find the answers. Cry of Fear is a singleplayer modification of Half-Life 1 which brings you the horror you've always been afraid of. It's a total conversion of Half-Life 1, which means it uses NO half-life 1 content or other peoples' files. It's all made exclusively by the developers. It also uses new gaming styles that you will rarely find in Half-Life mods, such as advanced cutscenes and other stuff that will be revealed at a later date.

Well it's hard for me to tell. I've got a new monitor, and I can see really good with this. But I don't know about you.

I will test the maps with different monitors before we release this.

Hmm, could just be this screencap. It's all relative anyway, not a huge deal :). Very good of you to be willing to test some different monitors before release. This is looking amazing either way.

Hey, does the mod require higher specs than the original Half Life does? I have a crummy GMA 950 and although I can run Half Life excellently, I'm afraid that some graphic effects in CoF might not work for my PC.

I always get a good feeling when I see that one of the mods I'm watching has an update. When I see that it's CoF that has an update, I get even more excited. When I saw that the update was 'subway tunnels', I could barely contain myself.

This looks so damn cool. Underground train tunnels are awesome. It actually reminds me of the part of Cloverfield where they walked along the subway tunnels.

Great work guys.
