Introduction:

19 years has past since 1187, when 'Allah warriors' lead by the Salāh ad-Dīn Yūsuf ibn Ayyūbi took control of the sacred city - Jerusalem and the Empty tomb! The Holy See in Rome reacted immediately. But, followed one by one Third and Fourth Crusades didn't end up as they were planned and Jerusalem still remained in hands of the 'infidels'. But this Crusades created a nice bridgehead on the Holy Land and Balkans.
The year 1206 has began and crusaders still desire to conquer Jerusalem and the Empty tomb! Meanwhile devout muslims want to drive away remaining rcusaders from their lands and that is where they have to 'win and get everything' or 'be defeated and lose' this sacred for both sides lands.
Many of those considered Crusades and the Holy war as a redemption for their God and Allah. After vowing to commit the crusade they enter the Holy Land and clash with the 'infidels'

This mod occupies time periods between Fourth (1202-1204) and Fifth (1217-1221) Crusades. It starts at 1206 and lasts till 1217.

Now the devs are working on 2 towns:Hama(Hamah) and Homs(Hims). If someone want's to help us,please look for some information about these towns in the 12th-13th centuries.
For Homs we need the information about the town walls and the citadel(if it exist),as for Hama we'll be glad to see any information.Thank's in advance.
(Sorry for my English)

These are stupid questions, but I'll give you the obvious answers:
Why this mod still not released? It isnt ready.
How long to wait? When its ready.
Theses modders are not a full time game studio, they do this in their spare time as a hobby for minor donations, they don't owe you anything. Just be thankful they commit their time so everyone can play a mod.

I really dislike people like you, why do you need to respond to a simple question with arrogance spewing out of your mouth.

Clearly we all know they are not a full game studio, but even so anyone asking a time for release shouldn't be shot down with "don't owe you anything" ********.

It's a simple question and needs a simple answer and an
"estimate" on release shouldn't be a problem, it's unrelated if they are a large studio, indie or 2 man studio.

They still would know an estimate on how long it will take to complete something, that's sheer common sense from any experienced modder.

Of course everyone is happy and appreciative towards these guys taking their time to make a great mod for the community but they are not "gods" and simple questions should be answered out of courtesy. The main reason they ask questions like these is because they enjoy what the modders have produced thus far.

Let's face it, they are making the mod for the community the least they could do would be civil and answer simple questions.

Ok, how do you expect them to know the release if they don't know when they will get time to work on the mod, or perhaps decide to add or remove a feature from their design? And don't you think if they knew the release it would be on this home page? Also do you expect them to respond to this same stupid question every day? One more thing, giving an estimate only fuels trolls and rage in the comments if something unexpectedly extends the release past the given estimate.

What i do not expect is someone to attack someone for asking a question.

This comment section is for questions relating to the mod not for people to call others stupid and attack them for being interested in said mod.

I do texture modding myself and I know I have 1 hour a night to work on modding, if nothing else comes up, i can estimate it will take me 7 months to finish my textures, it's not set in stone, it's an estimate.

If people are more civil and knew how to talk to each other without abuse or arrogance maybe there wouldn't be trolls and rage in these comment sections.

How hard is it to be nice to people without being a ****?

Ok so i have said it was a stupid question. You have said you hate me and people like me and said I have acted like a ****. You sir are hypocritical moron. There is an insult for you. I answered his question and gave reasoning to the answers. You have provided nothing but insults. Your spare time may also be more predictable than theirs so that is irrelevant.

You are a ****, and you do not seem to disagree relating to being labelled that, and which is why i'm treating you like one.

My spare time is not predictable it varies (1 hour per night is an estimate of the week), hence why I stated it's an "ESTIMATE of 7 months" its not set in stone.

I don't know why you think it's impossible to give an estimation on how long something takes, we all learn time-management through our daily lives, it relates to everything we do as humans.

let me break it down to help you understand how simple it is to estimate any task.

You eat steak 1 night a week, you want to know how much steak you will eat over a 1 year period. 52 weeks in a year, you will eat steak 52 times in a year (estimation).

Now of course it might be off one or two steaks because of other factors but that's why it's called an estimation.

Now you claim others time might be "less predictable" than mine, which is easy to calculate regardless.

Let's say they have spent 2000 hours on developing the mod, it's 50% complete without any other features being added, another 2000 hours and it's finished would be an estimate.

Do you understand now how simple it is to give an estimation, it does not matter if the estimation is wrong, what matters is it's very possible to predict how long a task will take with all things being equal.

Ok you are over simplifying it and being a total fuckwit, I am done with filling the comment section with ****. I was blunt but you are being the **** and an illogical one at that. I said what I said and would again.

I over simplified so you would understand, because it seems to be the only way to educate you, and even then you seem to struggle with the concept.

It's not nice when people are rude is it? maybe you should try be civil to other humans other than being a ****, then i would be happy to treat you with respect, but until then i will treat you how you seem to treat the community.

Question: Will you make armour stats more realistic, like adding two layers of chainmail with padding to make the unit/player take very little or no damage from arrows? Also, will a hit in the helmet stop an arrow, or will it count as a headshot, thus the damaging the player very much? Thankful for reply.
