A Game of Thrones is a total conversion mod for Crusader Kings II, based on George R. R. Martin’s fantasy novel series, A Song of Ice and Fire.
I'd have preferred to give it a 9/10, but I'm a new member so it won't let me. The entire mod is incredible. The only issues I really have are with the council menu glitching with overlapped names, etc. Also there are some other minor bugs, but I'm confident they will be rooted out before it's actually "released."
Beside A clash of Kings mod for Warband this is probably the second best Game of Thrones mod out there. One of the most fantastic features is the "What if". What if Jon accepts Stannis hel and becomes King in the North? But sadly this is getting boring after a time of playing which is rather the fault of the game than the games fault.
seems like a well done mod, but ck2 is so terribly unintuitive it almost feels deliberate. game of thrones fits this sort of game so well, but my problem is with ck2 itself, even after you learn the basics its not as engaging as total war or mount & blade. it becomes quite trivial.
