Craftable is minecraft-like Crysis mod. You can place and destroy over 30 blocks. This mod is just an experiment to show that Minecraft can be easily done on CryEngine. Original Minecraft created by Mojang.

Questions for the devs -

Do you plan to release the source code for this?
I would like to use this in my own non-commercial game project. I am sure others would as well.

Can sombody please direct me to get help with loading this mod. I had the same trouble with Worry of Newport, but I did something to make it work. But I dont remember what. When I click to play the mod, It loads Crysis, I go to mods. Craftable has a green dot next to it, but WON does not. I click unload or load but Craft... does not work. I really want to try this mod if anybody can help! WAAAAAAAAA!

Haha this is really cool. Maybe add an enemy spawner so you can do battle in what you've built. Not a coder so I don't know how possible it is or if the AI would be able to navigate at all. Just sayin that it would be awsome to build forts and dungeons then clear them out.
- Was just thinking too, if the dedications is there, in a long term scope coop would be even cooler.

This thing looks nice and all that but... Seriously?
This is the most useless mod ever. Minecraft in Crysis?!
Notch meant Minecraft to be a game where you need to be creative!
Not to be converged with a violent game like Crysis!

But whatever rolls your cart brother, you have fun with blocks inside a shooter game '-.-

Jeez dude..I don't think i've ever encountered a more pretentious douche bag in my life. efekt is obviously a Minecraft fan and he wanted to have some fun and make some Minecraft imitation using Cryengine - why not? it's just an experiment.

Secondly your criticism makes no sense - "Notch meant Minecraft a game where you need to be creative!" - Well, we're all happpy to have you around, so you can tell us what Notch's intentions were with Minecraft - because it wasn't obvious to anyone else -Thank You Captain Obvious....

Since the purpose of this Mod is to imitate the functions of building in Minecraft - How exactly does this mod NOT ENCOURAGE CREATIVITY??? You have blocks, and you build whatever comes to mind - sounds like you need to be creative to me...

...and what does Crysis being a violent game have to do with anything? - as far as I can see, you are not shooting any North Koreans from the top floors of your created structures after you're done - it's a straight imitation of Minecraft so the fact that Crysis is a violent game doesn't have anything to do with anything...

(con't reply to shadowsfox - haha - nice screen name nerd) -

I'm glad that Notch communicates with you personally and told you that "converging" Minecraft with Crysis, is just plain wrong!! :P - does your dog talk to you too by any chance?? - When you talk to Notch again, tell him I said Hi.

BTW, I feel sorry for you if you have asspirations to be a developer someday and have this kind of attitude towards those around you - being a devleoper usually requires the help of those around you have actually have some experience... unless you've already made a few great mods you would like to share with us here....well, maybe I shouldn't feel bad for you, you're obviously a genius and I bet you've already programmed the next Angry Birds or maybe even a revolutionairy improvement on Minecraft - because we all know you're smarter than everyone else on the Planet.

Now go crawl back in your nerd hole - little weasel.

Keep up the great work efekt - Brilliant!

I absolutely LOVE how much time you spend on me <3( I really do :))

Let me tell you how much I appreciate this mod, well I DON'T. No offense to Efekt though, he did really nice work and it must've been a lot of coding he did there. Thumbs up for him.
Small applause really. At least I ain't calling him names like a certain someone does in his comment towards someone elses comment and stuff :) I was in a bad mood and I wanted to apologize today, which I will in a PM soon. But a certain someoneĀ² (Waluigi as well ^^) made sure that my comment didn't go unnoticed :) Thank you for that ^^

Now before you call me a delusional guy that talks to his dog thinking it is Notch let me tell you two things. One, Notch has twitter. Two, I'm a bi-sexual furfag hence my nickname.
So now I set things straight with you ever heard of being polite, I know, I know sounds great from a guy telling someone else how do do his stuff. But seriously... Don't go yelling at people(not literaly) because they don't like a mod :)

Now since I'm a little nerd I can call you veteran Nerd lv. 40 Virgin? :) Yes, no? Sorry might've been a bit harsh but I felt like I needed to get back at you. This one's settled for now, at least on my field. Before you judge people ( oh **** did that myself just now *rolls eyes*) make sure you know them well enough :) Meet me in real life, you might like me a lot you know. My boyfriend describes me as: "smart witty cute mischievous sweet passionate guy." Not that bad I guess. But I'm straying off the subject right now. ^^
What I'm trying to say is, I work hard and try my best for customers as well as school.
I don't have time for game development I quitted that after August 2011 And will pick it up again Julie 2012. School+webdesign = no time for making mods/games. That's why I don't have a beautifull mod/game on Desura, I can work together real well with my friends and I make friends real well, but enemies are made even easier if you try to critisise on the internet, even more if you do it without the proper netiquette.

To the point now, Sorry efekt, Good job on the mod, even though I don't like it(I can have that much right?) And have fun making enemies on the internet 40 y/o guy from 'Merica
who likes to pick on people.

Sincerely,
Fox
ps.: Foxes aren't weasels you know, my Boyfriend says Foxes even eat those :o

Can't say much more to convey my point but I'll try anyway - lol - if you don't understand what's wrong with the way you express yourself (which you clearly don't)then you're pretty much a hopeless case. Nothing wrong with not liking a mod, but if you don't have some constructive criticism to help make it better, then what's the point of posting anything? You felt an overriding urge to tell efekt that his mod is "useless" and then preach about what "Notch" intended" or what "Notch didn't intend" - seriously dude - DOUCHEBAG is the only word that accurately describes you. Your tone is sarcastic, elitist and condescending.

quote: "But whatever rolls your cart brother, you have fun with blocks inside a shooter game"

-C'mon, is there possibly any way you can sound more like an a-hole?

BTW, who ever said a Fox was a Weasel? The term "weasel" is American Slang for someone who is unlikable and generaly a nuisance or pest - the term has nothing to do with your screenname - I suggest you think about the words you choose next time you feel the need to rip someone's creation apart. You can give your opinion without resorting to backhanded remarks, sarcasm and plain venom - calling his mod "useless"... YOU want to lecture someone on Netiquette?!? Now that's funny...
