0.76Demo with RV2.6Patch has been released onto 115.com, but only the Chinese version. I wish the speed is ok for all of you.

Notice: Install method and order.
0、shut down your anti-virus software, such as KingAV、360、QQPCMgr、Kaspersky...... because it may consider some auto-uncompressing process as virus or trojan.
1、run FK3D0.76.exe, ensure you has partition E:\, then always click "Next"(下一步) till successed.
2、run RV2.6.exe, then always click "Next"(下一步) till successed.
3、run other 3 exe files one by one, remember always click Next.

I've trying to install the Chinese 0.76 demo, but whatever I do it just crashes when it tries to extract the audio files midway and I get a message saying Windows cannot find some files in the ZH directory.

After shooting up several dozen waves of attackers, I got bored and sent everything I had to kill the enemy base on the other side of the map. I destroyed the base. The enemies kept coming. I lost.

I've also played a number of skirmish missions (or tried to, at least - I was never very good at this game and the AI claws the guts out of me, even on easy mode.) The new Green Chinese faction is really well done, and I especially like the use of General upgrades as 'options' for the hero units. They make the Red Alert 2 factions feel unfinished by comparison. Are you going to improve them further? From what I've played, it feels like the main focus should be on the conflict between the new human faction and the Bacterians. The three extra factions seem almost unnecessary.

I also tried, and failed, to build Vic-Viper and Lord British. I guess that'll have to wait for 0.80 or later? And will those new Core ships replace the spinning grey flat boss spaceships?

Anyway, keep up the good work. I really like the idea of combining an STG like Gradius with an RTS game; I don't think that I've ever been this excited about any Generals mod. I don't think that you need to or should be concerned about a full English translation, but a quick guide on how to play would make this non-native Chinese player very grateful.

yes, thanks to test it and give me a lot of useful feedback. through translating is a hard work, but only making a English guide is more easy. if your system support ZH-CN fonts, I can make a Chinese-English comparison to make you understand the mission tasks, units function, and so on, use QT or VS to do this work, is it a good idea?

some questions I can give you a fast reply.
1: mission 1 is only a trigger-test mission, only to test ZH's trigger if it can be used for RPG story line. so contains many bugs. in this mission, you need only to destory "Beluga TransportShip"(贝鲁贾运输舰), then command James(詹姆斯) goto its debris, he can dig out a green capsule, then command the capsule "onload" to James, like command infantry onload to Ham-Vee. James can take 2 capsule a time, if full, command him retreat to "Broken VicViper"(破损蝰蛇), relesae all capsule, Broken VicViper can be repaired by a bit of HP. collect more than 8 capsule, Broken VicViper can be repaired to full HP, then mission complete. attackers wave coming never stop, and enemy base is no need to deal with, if you waste time, when 8th wave passed, Bacterian Boss Headquarter will come to kill your base, yes! kill you in one second, it mean victory become more uncertain.

1: I'm pretty sure that I can handle Chinese fonts - I have Chinese (PRC) language settings installed and I can use Applocale (used both to install the game). I don't know what QT or VS are, but I can use machine translators if I have to.

3: I don't think having a heroes system in a game like this is a weird concept. Actually, I find it odder that this mod would be considered "modern warfare" - Red Alert 2 was deliberately outlandish and cartoonish, and Gradius is outright science fantasy. Gradius is based around the idea of the solo hero ship, so I don't see how that could be given up. If a "real war" analogue is absolutely necessary, I'd consider it the equivilent of abstracting a tank battallion or fighter squadron into a single unit; then it becomes a matter of how to simulate tactics and the relative control you would have over many units, as opposed to just the one.
I think that the concept of a hero-centered RPG/RTS is sound. Some units could be grunts that defend key points, or go charging in after the hero punches a gap in the enemy lines, and others could provide direct support to the hero character by healing or boosting powers. The concerns I'd have would be whether the hero is over/underpowered, and whether you can support the hero character effectively without having to constantly jump between managing build queues and combat simultaneously - that breaks the immersion for me. Maybe having an "option" that spawns certain kinds of allied units near the hero?
