the five-seven and the p90 have very good penetration, the damage of the 5.7 rounds is default 20 in cl. but i think it shouldnt have the same damage as the 50.ae. i think it should have 15 in damage. and the 7.62 bullets should have 35 in my opnino. sorry for my bad english

... one thing seriously puzzles me...

DE is seriously underpowered in CL...

it seems like normal pistols and only have 7 round mag...

even when shooting human grunt or other monster, the .50 AE (which should be a magnum caliber)
does not pack a lot of punch... in fact on close combat, i would rather be armed with a P228 over the DE
as both gun carry roughly same punch and took the same amount of shots to kill

.50 AE is the 2nd most powerful handgun cartridge in the world... the top would be the smith & wesson 500

in my opinion it should just carry the power to do at least 2 X damage of any pistol rounds
Hopefully DE would be a magnum in future versions instead of just normal power pistol

after playing for sometime... i almost forgotten the fact that the M4 with M203 existed

one of the reason is the disabled silencer makes aug and sg552 more desirable as they have scope

removing the M203 and replacing it with a XM1014 which fires explosive rounds would be more practical

so suggest changes is not to make the current xm1014 fires explosive

but to implement a variant weapon which looks identical to the xm1014, but fires explosive rounds

and... im desperately hoping for a silenced M4

the main reason for me suggesting a grenade firing shotgun...
its relatively simple to implement

if you are going to add an AK47 with grenade launcher its the same as adding the M4 with M203...
you are destroying a CS weapon
by altering and using a custom skin...

M79 would be hell load of work... or any stand alone grenade launcher system
(coding, animation etc will be hell load of time consumed into making it work)


so simple solution... an auto shotgun which fires grenade rounds in straight trajectory (like a cross bow bolt)

this is really simple... ripping the crossbow bolt code, and stuck it up with a custom bolt model
(i can see using a reskinned shotgun shell or casing of pistol round would be reasonable nice)

and... reskinning the shotgun's V model to have a different color of shotgun shell
and reskinning and adding another shotgun shell model which the grenade shotgun ejects

firing animation and reloading animation is same, just that the grenade shotgun fires small bolt-like grenades

and there is AP, HE and fragmentation grenade rounds for the shotgun

at least its easier than to design, skin and animate an AA12 model
and... the shotgun loads regular shell and operates on recoil mechanism like the xm1014

most difference is the tubular magazine and box magazine... which shouldnt be a problem as
the xm1014 and AA12 handles the regular shell simillarly... so a modified FRAG12 would work on the xm1014

unless you want to volunteer yourself to make a AA-12 skin with the P & W models as well

Nah i suck at modeling and skinning. my suggestion would be to have two kinds of m4. one with the m203 and one with a silencer.

i would rather an XM1014 grenade launcher than a M4 with M203

reasons being straight trajectory is easier to aim and shoot...
rather than aiming somewhere in the sky and try to fire a curvy trajectory with the M203

and XM1014 definitely fires faster then the current M203

add on:

kind of long never update anything
so i came up with a summary

suggestions for future version
1) improved power for the deagle (slightly more damage to fill the role of "magnum" in a game)
2) m4 returned to normal CS's silencer instead of M203 for 2nd fire
3) added a xm1014 variant which fires explosive rounds
