This mod aims to...well it doesn't have an aim. Apart from causing pain and suffering - I mean fun to the end user. It just makes the game more fun to me, and hopefully to you as well with any luck. It started off as a minor change mod that slowly evolved into this monstrosity (I mean that in a good way) as a result of me going completely bonkers, with a few little helpful suggestions from the people with the suggestions.

Anyway a lot of things have been changed, swapped or otherwise bastardised in a fashion that may or may not be balanced but that is not my primary concern. Also included is the Dawn of Skirmish AI mod version something or other. Thanks to them and such.

Most of the fixes in the Nobrainer Bugs list are included this mod, as well as most, if not all, of the fixes from the Bugfix mod by Maktaka. Thanks go to him for compiling the big list of things to fix and for providing the Bugfix mod.

Some thanks go to Argonaut for his Survival mod which I spent many hours playing and Fuggles for his random win conditions mod and for his Unofficial mod of the aforementioned Survival mod.

Big thanks to Zany Reaper for allowing me to use a lot of his units from his TTRU mod, such as the Tau Mines, Broadsides and Drones, Necron Destroyer and Heavy Destroyer with resurrection animations, DE Reaver with Blaster upgrade and Talos with jump animation.

Also honourable mentions go to the Firestorm over Kronus (or soon to be Kaurava) mod for generously allowing modders with no talent for modelling to use their models and stuff, Gerberman for a lot of FX and stuff, Catwell for the GUO and KoS models and Gr0rc for his OE work on them and to the DoWXP mod team for some bits and pieces.

well, to me Alex is really cool (was willing to fight space marines without massive baneblade factories among other things), but no one uses him, and i just wanted to ask, I like this mod, its really good and your modifications have got me playing the campaign again, thanks.

First off I'm not going randomly to start adding in DOW2 stuff just for the sake of it. Just because I can doesn't necessary mean that I should.

Secondly I honestly don't care that the UA mod is more popular than mine. It's a seriously impressive mod that happens to have more people working on it whereas I'm just doing this mod by myself.

Adding in good textures is a bit a bit of problem since I can't texture for beans and adding in stuff without a second thought seems like a really bad idea to me.

The mod is constantly being improved, I'll add stuff as I see fit and you can continue to expect the sort of quality that makes this mod enjoyable. However without anything major being released in the way of the FoK or PoK mods there isn't really much that I can do. I've also asked Boy_Chaos if I for permission to use his Necron Ghost and Doomsday Arks but so far I haven't received any reply.

I appreciate that you enjoy the mod enough to take time to post feedback so thanks.

Honestly, the IG feels a bit underpowered in the early game, the races; Especially the SoB and both kinds of Spehss Mahreen absolutely ream them before they can their Vehicles ready. So bringing back the Commissar execute would go quite a way in keeping heavy infantry less overwhelming for the flashlight wielders.

Guardsmen squads are really cheap compared to Space Marine squads, Even without the cost decrease, you could get more squads than SM and win through attrition. Now it's even more so.

The Command Squad is awesome, use it.

Commissar Execute has not been removed, what are you talking about?

Its really easy to tie up the guardsmen and steam steam roll them. Maybe orgyns in tir 2, You could add a different squad of guardsmen that wilds some las pistols and chain swords.

Grey Knights, the Command Squad, Support Command Squad, detaching mini commanders such as Priests and Commissars can all be used in melee engagements. Alternatively you can load all your GM squads into Chimeras to stop that from happening.

I derped, I meant to say that the execute should affect ALL squads near the execution, not just the one the Commissar is attached to. Though for balance's sake, can a cooldown timer be added to execution?

Execute already has a timer.

It not affecting multiple squads was done for the same reason as Dark Eldar Combat Drugs not affecting multiple squads, the ability effects were too widespread.

So far I don't think that Guardsmen squads are underpowered.
