ontra is a freeware modification for Command and Conquer Generals: Zero Hour real-time strategy game. It's a big project started in 2004. It adds many new units as well as numerous new upgrades, new general's powers, buildings and new generals. It also adds new music and sounds, maps, bug fixes, enhanced graphics, and other effects, as well as three new Generals. There are tons of people playing in multiplayer. You can start a game at any time. Many people play with Tunngle.

Our main tasks after the Beta release are: fixing bugs; balance; inserting all completed models and cameos; polishing models and textures; inserting new trees, lighting and water; deeper AI development.

USA Generals:The generic feature of this general is his mobility, which allows to move
an entire army very fast and create numerical superiority at desired
areas of the battlefield. His basic strategy is unstoppable maneuvering
along enemy base perimeter. If he finds a weak point in defense, he
moves there instantly and destroys the most significant targets.
Air Force general depends on speed and precision. He requires skillful
control and is heavy on micro management. While being a powerful general
the skill and experience required makes him difficult for many
beginners to play.
Laser is a versatile general strong in call situations. He is flexible and has
units to fill every combat role. As a result he has no weaknesses other
than being a specialist at nothing.
Advantage of this general is easy micro and very simple strategy. Almost the same
vs all enemies - build up around enemy until he dies. However, you
should not ignore other abilities.
China Generals:He has the same strategy as tank general, but another means for its
implementation and another battle tactics. His vehicles are not as
armoured as tank general's ones, so he has to use artillery and
different tactics, and tricks, instead of forcing his way through.
Nuke General must rely on aggression to defend his base. He has no defenses
to hide behind while you wait for your nukes to load. The absence of
defense structures forces the player to be more active and aggressive.
Use your units to carry out counterattacks for defense and support your
main attack with super weapons.
Infantry is a volatile general given to decisive victories or defeats in the
early game. As expected, he relies on masses of infantry in the early
game, later reinforced by more infantry. In the late game he gains
powerful artillery strikes supported by the same infantry.
His strategy is easy to understand, but not as easy to implement:
build more tanks and attack. But everything has its details.
GLA Generals:Toxin General specializes in area attacks and damage over time. He is
especially effective vs mobbed units and hordes. If well played, you
will find all of your positions unapproachable for the fields of acid
and poison.
He is a versatile and powerful general with demanding micro management needs.
Since almost all units are disposable, you must use them with care,
directing almost all kamikazes manually. The more assiduously you play -
the more complex it becomes for enemy to defend from your endless flows
of kamikazes. If you play properly, you can defeat any other general.
While at a glance his units are weak and poorly suited of combat, Stealth
General is a deceptively powerful general using infiltration and
surprise to his advantage. He has long range sniper units capable of
attacking with impunity against units lacking stealth detection. He is a
challenging general to play, but has a strong reward for the effort
given.
Assault is a flexible general with flexible units. He is low micro management and well suited
for most players. While having no spectacular abilities he also has no weaknesses.
Don't forget to track Contra if you like it. You will see new updates frequently.

- Persian or Arabic spoken language
- Good microphone
- Good intonation
- Ability to act any GLA unit in the game or/and use help from friends who can voice act
- Willing to finish the job until the end
Chinese voices by Gundamwen are a good example of how things have to be done - light units speak with "light" voices, heavy units speak with "heavy" voices; no background noise, etc.
Send a private message to Creator in Revora (click), saying that you would like to join the team as a GLA voice actor and send him voice examples, so he can decide if you are good enough. ![]()

Satellite Hack II - Cannot reveal whole map in large maps.
Satellite Hack III - After researching, The same research button doesn't change to [This upgrade was purchased] and [Already built] word appeared on the bottom of the original research description.
Only one Internet Center that researched Satellite Hack III gets the visual change of floating dish, others don't.
Hackers - when trained all, the description of it from barracks says [already built]. Change it to [cannot train anymore.]
Infantry Paradrop rank 3 from Infantry General gets 4 mini gunners, 4 red arrows, 4 grenadiers and 4 ATGM operators. Different to its description.
In fog of war, some trails from aircraft remain glowing.
Suan Ni - some times it gets a select cursor rather than attack cursor on enemies.
Neutral Bunker - has seven slots. Is it suppose to be eight?
I need Chinese dozer armor back. They can't withstand the indirect damage when enemies attack a defense structure and dozer fixes it.
Where's Super Red Arrow? Regular Red Arrow is really useless. Minigunner can take over its roll.
Bad description on AP rockets upgrade in Infantry General Tech center. It applies to ATGM operators too.
What kind of statistics can hoard bonus applies to Jammer Tropper? Is the name is Jammer or ECM trooper?
Why China sniper wastes its attack on tanks and why minigunners can't attack tanks?
Why don't you make Field Engineers clear mines from inside the transport? I don't want wasting time to let it out and killed by enemy.

I found AA mines icon. It was disappeared when I select multiple Quad Cannons. I want to deploy multiple AA mines at a same time. Same is true for other deploying units.
Why there are no laying mines in MRV in Laser General?
Which unit launches cruise missiles that can be shot down by AA mines? Is MTHEL can shoot down these missiles and artillery shells?
Bad description in Camouflage upgrade in Demo General. It says it affects only rebels but suicide bombers too.

(tanks behind Quad defense or infantry behind AT defense) so the defense that is effective to them can't shoot over other defenses. Could you make them shoot over each other? Also make it able to hold fire when cameo-net is purchased and disassemble unwanted ones too?

+ This is the disadvantage of GLA defenses. Making them shoot over each other is not a good idea. They will become too powerful in groups. I will tell Creator to add Hold Fire option where it is possible. But I don't think he will agree with disassembling.
