Contra is a freeware modification for Command and Conquer Generals: Zero Hour real-time strategy game. It's a big project started in 2004. It adds many new units as well as numerous new upgrades, new general's powers and buildings. It also adds new sounds, maps, bug fixes, enhanced graphics, and other effects, as well as three new generals. There are lots of people playing in multiplayer.

- Flamethrowers could damage themselves when firing at close targets. Fixed.
- Emergency Repair did not effect Command Center. Fixed.
- Demo general: When Cluster mine exploded, the game said "unit lost". Fixed.
- Flame general: Howizers did not fire after Thermobaric Mixtures upgrade. Fixed.
- Sturm-S missile crushed into ground on rough terrain. Fixed.
- Super Weapon General: Missile Defender fired 2 missiles at once after EMP warheads upgrade. Fixed.
- Cyber general: Cluster bomb clusters did not exlpode on bridges. Fixed.
- Destroyed Dark Star (UAV) cried "Aaaa..". Fixed.
- Missile soldiers (Stingers, Red Arrows) did not fire at fast aircrafts. Fixed.
- A-10 could damage helicopters if targeted to attack high buildings or high ground. Fixed.
- Luna had incorrect headlights. Fixed.
- Marauder had incoddect muzzle flashes. Fixed.
- It was impossible to resume demo traps building when they were at 0% completion state.
- It was impossible to resume Patriot Battery Line building when it was at 0% completion state.
- Attack Outpost can hold 4 soldiers, but it was written 6. Corrected.
All: Dozers and workers repair buildings 2 times slower now.
All: RPG troopers, Missile Defenders and Tank Hunters bring 2 times more damage to buildings.
All: Command Center is not limited any more.
All: Defense structures balance was recalculated. USA and GLA defenses were weakened by 10%. Super weapon general's defenses were weakened by 20% (I remind you that Tomahawk Storm and Purple Particle Cannon are unlimited now).
USA: Aurora bomb flies 2 times slower. there is a chance to evade it.
USA: Building defense turrets were removed.
AF general: I reconsidered my previous decision about Comanche scout drones and removed the limit from them. But I increased ability recharge time to 5 minutes.
AF general: Target Designator costa $3000.
AF general: Raptor is available at rank 1 now. It is not stealth and armes with 2 misses, but can recieve stealthness and better weapon after upgrades.
AF general: New upgrade: Frog Missile for Raptor. It leaps from target to target. One strike can destroy up to 5 targets.
AF general: F-35 does not have stealthness by default, but can resieve it after upgrade.
AF general: F-35 bomb damage was weakened by 10%.
AF general: Stealthnes supgrade costs $3000.
Cyber general: Drone Controller is immune to toxins and radiation now.
Flame general: J-10 became available at rank 1 and was rearmed with antitank missiles.
Flame general: MiG MFI is more expensive and more powerful now - it launches 4 missles with large spread.
Flame general: Iron Fist shell has different trajectory now: it flies straight forward and reaches target much faster.
Flame general: Immolator has got armored roof addon.
Infantry general: Dragon tank is not a dragon tank any more: it was rearmed with antitank missiles and renamed to Mangusta. (Note: standard China Dragon Tank will be added too).
Infantry general: J-10 was rearmed with antitank missiles.
Infantry general: Minigunner and ATGM trooper move a bit slower now (speed was set to the same value as missile troopers have).
Tank general: Mass produstion is more expensive now: A party of 10 tanks costs $6000.
Tank general: Gauss gun requires 3 energy units now.
Tank general: Armored roof addon protection level was lowered a bit: it absorbs 2/3 artillery damage now (was 3/4).
GLA: Scorpion Rocket upgrade is granted from the very beginning to Assault and Toxin generals.
GLA: Bikers of the same type have equal costs for all GLA generals now. Some bikers were more expensive for Toxin and Demo generals in Contra 007. This cost penalty was removed.
Stealth general: The chance to kill driver for snipers was lowered from 10% to 8%.
All: I reconsidered yet another previous decision and returned experience for Oil Derricks destruction.
Laser general: Omega has got engine upgrade.
Laser general: Snipers removed.
Infantry general: Propaganda Troop Crawler is built empty.
Tank general: ECM addon was removed from Emperor and Shaitan - nobody uses it.
GLA: Salvage crates don't have random effects now. If a unit has all salvage upgrades - they give veterancy levels. If a unit has all veterancy levels - then $100.
GLA: Salvage Drop works instantly now. There is not plane any more. Crates appear on ground.
Demo gneneral: Cockroaches have selfdestruction button now.
Stealth general: Fake Command Truck and fake Supply Truck were added.
