Contra is a freeware modification for Command and Conquer Generals: Zero Hour real-time strategy game and one of the first mods for this game. It adds many new units as well as numerous new upgrades, new general's powers and buildings. It also adds new sounds, maps, bug fixes, enhanced graphics, and other effects, as well as three new generals.

the wheel set-up almost looks like the new batman's bat-mobile, only a better color, heavier weapons, and is essentially bigger/ slower.

nope, full-screen 800x600.....i have an Nvidia Gforce 6100 and AMD Sempron Processor 3100+ with 2Gb RAM and 35.1Gb HDD space.
I don't know. Try restarting the game or reboot your PC. This problem appears on vanilla Zero Hour too, right?
nope, just Contra and Shockwave, it goes away when i restart the game, my PC does not like mods for 3D games.
If its not much trouble, could you include a option for Shell maps on/off in the next versions launcher?
I will ask Creator. You can manually change it too. Right click on your ZH shortcut, go to Properties and then under target put this " -noshellmap". Copy it from here, without the quotes. It must be put at the end. It must look like this: ".....generals.exe" -noshellmap.
