Contra is a freeware modification for Command and Conquer Generals: Zero Hour real-time strategy game and one of the first mods for this game. It adds many new units as well as numerous new upgrades, new general's powers and buildings. Description
So, as many people complained about new version of Jarmen Kell model, we decided to change his appearance. Many people want classic GLA rebel style, so I have tried to make the best I could. I hope everyone will like this version more than the previous version.

I haven't seen that movie, but Leonidas was first thing that came to my mind.
That is not any complaint. I guess we won't have time to look on his face in game.

His face is derived from a Mujahideen fighter during Soviet in Afghanistan era.

Dont know what you people want anymore. Last version was not good, ok. This is classic gla style. Clothes, cloak from cameo, turban, arabic face, beard....high resolution details, Dragunov sniper. Show me better Jarmen kell, which mod has better looking one...?
Hide his face with a cloth type thing,GLA people don't show there faces like this,they hide their identity.
At least cover his head with an cap of a cloth..

Well, im sorry but now its too late. I have changed Jarmen under the pressure of lots of bad comments about last model. I wanted to make it more futuristic but yet in gla style. No one liked it. Another version is classic GLA, now get used to it. Normal gla clothes, dragunov sniper rifle, arabic face...thats it.
I liked it.

still i dont like this model make GLA feel way to low, their technology is not as high as other factions in Contra but they are not THIS low to make their most strong infantry to be like this,
dont take me wrong the detail and model is amazing a job but to much out of date for GLA in contra in my opinion

I like this model actually. He is their best soldier. He can look and take what ever needs or wants. He isn't going to be some some robotic super-soldier or from that picture I saw, A Chinese sniper looking model.

It will be used somewhere, but final decision has not been made yet. It will probably be a model replacement for Jarmen Kell in some missions.
