Contra is a freeware modification for Command and Conquer Generals: Zero Hour real-time strategy game and one of the first mods for this game. It adds many new units as well as numerous new upgrades, new general's powers and buildings. It also adds new sounds, maps, bug fixes, enhanced graphics, and other effects, as well as three new generals.
Salvage Factory is a new building for Assault general. It was about time for Assault to get a special building since Stealth has Jammer Station, Toxin has Chemical Lab and Demo has Airfield. This new building is of course still being tested, but currently, it is available at rank 3 and costs $3000. Salvage Factory drops a salvage crate at the red mark each few seconds. Players have to manually place their tank on that spot in order to get the crate. In addition, "Recycling" upgrade is now available for research at this structure, thus at rank 3. We have some more ideas for this structure which may become active abilities.
For assault general, this structure is rather interesting..
But what is recycling upgrade? similar as the recycling upgrade as in Rise of the Reds?
I can't install Zero Hour, so I'm not familiar with the recycling upgrade in Contra..
Recycling upgrade allows the player to recover his destroyed vehicles by selecting a target area. It is also available to the super unit as ability - applies to destroyed vehicles within its reach. A small scaffolding appears on the affected vehicles, and they get back to life after a short amount of time.
maybe add a new salvage levels for infantry
