Contra is a freeware modification for Command and Conquer Generals: Zero Hour real-time strategy game and one of the first mods for this game. It adds many new units as well as numerous new upgrades, new general's powers and buildings. It also adds new sounds, maps, bug fixes, enhanced graphics, and other effects, as well as three new generals.
This is a co-op mission we are working on for the upcoming holidays. In co-op maps, players team up and play against the machine in mission style. You have to work together to win. It will be available for everybody to download and play. We are making it compatible with Contra 007, so you can enjoy this map with your friend. We are not releasing it yet, because it is not finished. We are currently testing it and we are fixing bugs. Making a working co-op map is harder than making a Campaign mission, this is a hard challenge for us. Have patience, we are making all of this for you, for free.

Yes, you can. For example, if you choose USA Air Force general, you get Air Force general's Colonel Burton with his abilities.
