looks great but i personally think the size is unrealistic :/
Actuly thats how big a ak47 would be. Guns are actuly relly smaller then in games as in CS the ak47 is to big in BF2 the ak is to big. this is actuly relistic but i also want it to be slightly bigger.
So you're saying, in size-ratio to the man, the butt stock is as long as your face is? Seems a bit odd.
i don't think so. i haven't held one in real life but i'v been next to people with them and they are quite a bit bigger than this. this isn't a realistic size. most other video games actually have it right.

Aidas made the model as big as it would be in real life I'm pretty sure, but being the COH people are all giant body builders in this game who are 2 meters tall it's a little hard to get the weapon to look right on them, Anyways it is abou tthe same size as the MP44 so it all looks okay ingame you won't even notice it.
Also, to add to this, the guy is holding it sort of weird and out in front of him, and to add on to that it is a volksgrenadier who's arms seem to be huge compared to say the british model which we might be replacing him with.
But anyways, even if it is too small for COH standards it doesn't matter, I can't get another one of these, this is what you guys will have to live with.
If the ak needs to be resized later I can work on it when my hard drive is fixed.
Nahh, I wouldn't pressure you too much on something silly like this, I'd much rather have that time put into a rice hat or NVA gear :P

But do they look Asian? XD every screenshot is not on the face. Modern combat I believe has Asian skin tones and faces. I don't knoww but it seems like the guy is Caucasian in that depicted screenie. If you guys are working on it I understand, Anyways great job on the weapon! (Posted on both pics)
Yeah, sadly none of the people modeling for our mod have experience doing it for video games and exporting it etc. so we won't be able to get asian faces ingame unless later on (who knows when or if) we keep begging MC and they finally give in :P

Good one, the only thing you need to do is to replace their German boots with the right NVA shoes/sandals of the period.
Why the AK47 looks so small?
Length of the AK47 is 880 mm (35 in) with fixed wooden stock.(RIPPED FROM WIKIPEDIA)
I can upload a photo of my AK47 1:1 replica for comparison, because this model looks like 500mm with the bayonet on.
