A massive rip in the in the very fabric of reality was caused inadvertently by the Scrins use of their rift weapon. This anomaly would eventually be known has the Dimensional rift. The effects were devastating, the time line was shattered and suddenly people, events, vehicles even buildings suddenly ceased to exist. Suddenly both GDI & Nod had vastly altered armies. Old technology was mixed in with the new, briefly the war was suspended, has both armies struggled to come to terms with both their loses and their new additions. And what of the Scrin? completely unaffected! It was 3 weeks after the dimensional rift that the first skirmish occurred. Nod forces destroyed a relief convoy that was moving to assist a small GDI outpost, all personnel were lost. Belatedly GDI declared war on Nod, the tools of war may have change, but Tiberium was still present, Kane still alive and mankind's future still uncertain.
General address on the status of Tiberian History.

This is done with the understanding that these kinds of mods are never definitively 'finished', it's just that people stop working on them.
While I liked that release 4 had satisfied my basic draft, the only thing that bugged me was that GDI had no 'historical' base defences.
A new source of models, many of which already had textures applied, came to my attention not long after the release of version 4. Thanks to this information release 5 was planned, which included a complete new set of base defences for GDI!
The mod status is still 'finished' however if another source of models (especially with textures) became available to me, then I would certainly consider another release.
My current feelings on the mod is that it would be nice if both Nod and GDI had a couple more historical structures (to lessen the largely dull C&C3 structures), and also an additional aircraft each (even if this was an aircraft that was only summoned and not built).
I could not care less about the Scrin.
I have a few models that are still untextured and I might texture and show them publicly at a future date.
This does not mean that a release is going to happen, and these images will be tagged: *Unreleased content*, instead of the usual *New for release X*.
If something happens that means a release has been planned, then any *Unreleased content* tags will be changed to *New for Release 6*
