To settle some speculation... Yes, Tiberian Dawn Redux has Tiberium Vein Hole Monsters!
They do occasionally spew Tiberium Gas Clouds and can do damage to your forces when they get too close! The tentacles even animate! I spent nearly 6 hours modeling and animating it last night just to get it looking right!

Are they destroyable like they were in Tiberian Sun and if yes, will the ground return to normal (as in Tiberian Sun after you destroy veinholes)... Cuz I already imagine machine gun upgraded ORCA's "disinfecting" the ground *evil grin*
The veinhole monster always reminded me on the Salacc from Star Wars Episode 6: Return of the Jedi. I wonder if the vhm was inspired by the Salacc.
