All the original units and themes have been recreated while the campaign missions are also being remade, in v1.1 there are six for GDI and Nod, stand by as more of the original missions will become available once completed! Re-discover this classic game on the SAGE 3D Graphics Engine that C&C Generals Zero Hour is using! Plus you can explore events that occurred after the war ended when Kane was presumed dead, and also explore some new units that were developed and tested by both sides!

Description

ATTENTION MAPPERS! These map.ini files and scripts are for Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour WorldBuilder! These scripts will enable/disable/toggle any weather effects available from the game to simulate rain and/or snow storms passing through your map. (when imported into the civilian script folder in WorldBuilder and placing the map.ini files in the same folder as your maps)

OVERVIEW:
These scripts will toggle any weather effects available to simulate rain and/or snow storms passing through your map.
(when imported into the civilian script folder in WorldBuilder and placing the map.ini files in the same folder as your maps)

INSTALLATION:
To install them, click on "EDIT", next click on edit scripts.
The script editor will appear. If you have enabled the skirmish players then a folder named Civilian will be visible.
Click on that and then click on "import scripts". Navigate to the scripts and "import" them.

SPECIAL NOTE:
This is only good if you have rain, thunderstorms, wind, or snow in your map.
If you like to create and edit maps, you can easily customize the script to fit the effect you want
in your map. i.e. You can toggle the sound and the effects, or just one or the other.
You can change the frequency of when the weather changes too!
And you dont have to use all the scripts together in the file folders! (to allow creativity)

HERE ARE THE BASICS ON HOW TO BUILD GOOD WEATHER EFFECTS:

JUST REGULAR RAIN:

1. Omit the lightning weather effects script.
2. Omit the tree wind fx script.
3. Omit the wind sound fx script.
4. Use the rain weather effects script.
5. Use the "map" configuration settings to activate the raindrops.
6. Make sure you modify the global light settings to simulate a cloudy day for a better effect.
(darken the lighting)

RAIN WITH WIND:

1. Omit the lightning weather effects script.
2. Omit the wind sound fx script.
3. Use the rain weather effects script.
4. Use the tree wind fx script.
5. Use the "map" configuration settings to activate the raindrops.
6. Make sure you modify the global light settings to simulate a cloudy day for a better effect.
(darken the lighting)

THUNDERSTORM:

1. Use the lightning weather effects script.

JUST REGULAR SNOW:

1. Omit the tree wind fx script.
2. Omit the wind sound fx script.
3. Use the snow weather effects script.
4. Use the "map" configuration settings to activate the snowflakes.
5. Make sure you modify the global light settings to simulate a cloudy day for a better effect.
(darken the lighting)

SNOWSTORM:

1. Use all of the effects in the snowstorm weather effects file folder.
2. Use the "map" configuration settings to activate the snowflakes.
3. Make sure you modify the global light settings to simulate a cloudy day for a better effect.
(darken the lighting)

NOTE: You will need to place the "map" configuration settings file into the map folder.
C:\My Documents\Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour Data\Maps\YOUR MAP HERE
And you cannot use the wind and rain sound effects in conjunction because one will override the other and
only one sound effect will be heard. So, to counter this, place some of the amb.winternaturewindloop sound flags near
the bases and around areas of interest in your map.

Enjoy the scripts and be creative!
