This is a total conversion of the K2 Engine.
After researching GDI/Nod/Allies/Soviet forces. Here at Mountain Lion Studio we have decided to recreate the original C&C gameplay to RTSS warfare. Allowing the C&C fans to take their passion to the next level.
The CiC(commander in chief) will be in the nutshell view, when linked to communication system, with their favorite interface. Their job will be to coordinate building, researching, training, and giving orders. Thus, makes the commander a huge asset to the battle field. When CiC is not in the nutshell view he must be in visible range to command. A field commander can operate like a CiC but must be authorized to execute. Higher ranking players will be able to take lower ranks under their command.
The objective won't be destruction of enemy's Construction Yard, but elimination of all opposing forces. To achieve this goal destruction of all production structures is necessary to prevent reinforcements to the battlefield.
+Completely new clan system
+PhysX + Organic Physics
+Regional, Continental, Planetary, Solar, Galactic Domination
+Advanced WWW Integration
+Voice Over Recognition + Voice Changer
Fall 08 Note:
The game isn't looking to be showing any previews or anything for quite awhile. My current focus is with my life outside of gaming. I will post some models to give you all some idea of what you might be looking forward to. As the engine isn't complete I cannot show ingame footage. By the time we are done I also gotta say this probably won't be a mod of savage. It was just being used to play around with different weapons, vehicles, building, and get a feel for the technology and environment that may be experienced in certain parts of the game. Ofcourse that doesn't change the fact that this is a mod of savage, it is more of a private mod in any case.
To get an idea what it will be like upon completion look at Savage, Spore, Majesty, and Earth2150. The game isn't based off any of them and I cannot say that the ideas came from them. But, I will say that majority of the ideas have been sparked from Command & Conquer back in 1995.
