As you all know, or are about to find out, our project is about 8 (soon to be 9) years old, which means that we grew up from the moment we started and with that, our lives got complicated and got hit by the reality of real-life challenges and which translates to having alot less time for our hobbies..

With that, instead of delaying it even further, we considered that we've done enough for a new release; while there is always room for more improvements, those things take time, which we don't have as of late.

So, ladies and gents, as promised - well more like as many of you hoped for - we present this new year gift to all of you; the release of C&C Untitled v3.0.

HOW TO INSTALL:We didn't provided an automatic installers / uninstallers program and bat based launchers due to, from past experiences, causing more problems and overall unreliability.
So, follow the linked instructions then extract everything in the .rar file into your main ZH directory:

Additional notes:

- Your must have ZeroHour patched to it's latest version. Latest version is 1.04
- This mod uses custom AI, so make sure to backup the ZH "Data/Scripts" folder by moving it or renaming it to prevent conflict.


If you have / had encountered weird and awkward bugs, issues and problems, you can head to this two following places:


The AI works to a point, and though we planned to fix it before release, we didn't due to time constraints and we also don't want to cause further delays for the release of C&C Untitled.
In all, we really need an AI scripter, so feel free to offer your services (instead of whining about it as always) because any help on that front would be more than welcomed.
Of-course that means you have to already know how to do it or atleast the basics of it, as none of us has the time to teach you or let you leech the mod in the hopes that you might learn how to.

They don't attack me just sit there with their massive army.. for example brutal usa only attack with a few tomahawk missiles and occasionally sent them on their suicide run trying to take out my dozer wayyy back in my base rest of the ai army just sit in base. some generals they don't even have an army. plz fix. :(

Out of curiosity, when did you decide to turn the Nimitz Tank into a rather..innefective EMP artillery unit? When used with the basic USA general at least, it has a main attack that fires a blue ball that deals no damage, and knocks out enemy vehicle power for about 1/4th of a second or so. Weren't they Railgun Artillery units? Even the pics you released for FX 5 days ago seem to show them firing direct fire glowing blue bolts that appear to damage buildings, why the sudden change?

You can enable generals challenge, but you should skip the maps in which the game crashes.

It happens on Airf, Nuke and Boss.
So 6 challenges work ok-ish.

Hmmm......have you perhaps thought of getting in touch with the creator of the Remix Escalation mod? It died a ways back, but was nearly complete, admittedly this is your mod, and your things come first, but his mod had a huge variety of elements, and if you could use some of his assets there may be one or two things that may appeal to you for yours. For instance he had implemented unique Superweapons for virtually every faction, heck, the Laser General (He called it Research General since he gave it three different potential tech paths) had Three Superweapons, and a pretty nifty implementation of orbital laser artillery. And the Superweapon General had Four, one of which, the ICBMs, could be upgraded into monsters with fusion warheads. Just a thought, since if you had the basic assets for some of those things, you could polish them into things that may appeal to you. As mentioned it is your mod, and perhaps none of the things in Remix would suit your vision, but there is always a chance with all the things in it there may be one or two elements you might like.

Of course....all of that was based on my assumption that it is easier to modify a asset that already exists rather than build one from scratch, if I am incorrect in that assumption, my apologies for my long winded post.

Does this mod fix or at least address the slowdown issues while playing against AI in Skirmish mode? 'cuz I hear the SAGE engine is terrible, and that it can't be fixed or rectified or patched.

If it did that it would pretty much go against the EULA part. So no it doesn't fix sage's ****** pathfinding. It doesn't lag like other mods, and as already said in the update description the AI atm is borked, but big maps might still be a bit problematic in terms of lag.
