C&C Untitled 2.0 Beta - Installer version
Description
The Installer version of C&C Untitled 2.0 Beta INSTALLER NOTE: - Make sure the file "Install_Final.bmp" is NOT set to "Read-only" before installing. (right click on the file > go to properties > uncheck the "Read-Only" check box > apply > ok)
This version comes with an installer, simply double click on the installer to install the mod.
INSTALLER NOTE:
- Make sure the file "Install_Final.bmp" is NOT set to "Read-only" before installing.

NOTE TO WIN 7 AND VISTA USERS:
- If the installer appeared to have done nothing. It could be the windows UAC.
- The Windows UAC could sometimes block programs from making changes to the "Program Files" folder.
- Either disable the UAC, or install generals in a different directory like "C:\Games"

Yay! Finally! Question: does this conflict with other mods? like RotR or shockwave? What I really mean is, does it have a separate launcher? thanks again and nice work!
Most mods doesn't work together so it can be that Cnc U doesn't work with RoTR because of different module tags, file names sounds and such. But this is only if you don't have the RoTR launcher.
CCU now comes with separate launcher, so it can be installed in same folder with other mods that also uses launcher.

i have tried your mod, so far it is good, but i have experience some serious lag when chinooks and emperor overlord are in the batlefield, i will let u more, if i found some more problems
ERROR: FAILED TO COPY THE FILE 'C:\Program Files (x86)\EA Games\Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour\Install_Final.bmp' to 'C:\Program Files (x86)\EA Games\Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour\Install_Final.bmp.backup' (error 5: zugriff verweigert) I have done whats said up there in the description, but now i dont understand anything, PS: I have the German version its called Stunde Null, could you please help me I have waited so long and I dont want to start hating my PC
EDIT: I tried both Version Installer and none Installer its the same -__-
Check if the file is checked "Read only" and if it is, uncheck it.
If i recall, that caused some errors as well in the past.
Tried that, still gives me that error.

That's one very strange error, i've never incountered that so far. Though, a quick google search led me here:

I know it's a different game, but it might work with that issue you're facing.
If i try to run this with admin this just launch and crash without any error message in one 1 second .I reinstal Generals and it still get that error (
try to use the untitled.exe instead of the Untitled.bat (make sure run as administrator), it works for me.
or try re install zero hour on a different directory other than program files, it works also ( i did this because i had errors again after 1-2 times playing the mod)
Got the solution! Windows 7/8 restricts the mod launcher to modify Generals Zero Hour files since its on the Program Files folder and therefore additional permissions must be set.
To do this, Navigate to C:\Program Files(x86)\EA Games
then, right click on the Zero Hour folder, click 'Properties' then select the 'Security' tab. There should be a user called 'ALL APPLICATION PACKAGES'. Click on 'EDIT' and make sure that all checkboxes are on the 'Allow' column.

After that, try launching the CNC UNTITLED mod launcher again (the untitled.bat)

I have a problem same you GeneralPsycho
I get a "Technical Difficulties" error when starting Untitled. I have Win 7 64 bit. I tried installing both the Installer and Non- installer. Neither worked. I have other mods installed and they all work. Anybody get the same problem. Any help would be appreciated.

It appears the menu shellmap for mine has a small problem. The sand texture where the US units are on appear to be missing and thus only the brown plain color is on it without any texture.
