Indeed it is, for now, there will be more variations of tank death in future, for now it's just two of them. Plus some of the vehicles like laser crusader, ecm, tomahawk, etc.. will have their own "way to explode". More randomization more fun.
The effect is nice and all, etc. etc., but still - it's way too extreme.
I agree, it looks like 50% of the time the final shell causes the second death anim. and causes sparks?
Tanks exploded a bit too much for me (like a small nuke in vgen) but the overall effect is stunning.
This looks amazing, don't tone it down :)
Also, can you make higher resolution textures for vehicles? This old ones look outdated.

i think that's a bit too much boom for a tank with diesel engine :P
