Q: When it's gonna be released?
A: As soon as i finish it, i don't really want to rush with my projects, because great things take time, but i assure you - it won't take too long.

Q: Is there will be new units/buildings/abilities/generals powers?
A: I'm planning to release 2 version of mod in a same time, the first one will contain only default C&C Generals Stuff, the second one will have something new, not really sure what it will be.

Q: What the heck is RC1/2/3?
A: It's mod Release Candidate versions, i've devided my mod development into three stages : RC1 - Units Demo, RC2 - Units + Structures Demo, RC3 - Final Release.

Q: How are you gonna add abilities/upgrades/special powers to mod?
A: This will be simplified, i will use Veteran/Heroic states for GLA Units instead Junk collecting, some upgrades will be bundeled into protocol upgrades, you get the idea.

Currently i am working alone, but with a great help of these guys :

Jafhar/GoGoYubari - He's responsible for bright and great ideas, additional models, great advices, help with textures, there's really too much to mention so let's just say that he's a great person to be befriended with, period.

C&C : Generals Evolution : New Year Celebration And "Crysis On The Coast" - RC1 Map-Mod Release!

Hey guys, it's me again, a guy who uses same preset for every news! ( including this sentence ), even in 2016! It's me Gunship Mark II, I would like to wish you Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year!

If you think that sentence above was bullshit - i won't blame you, but instead i will offer you something awesome that we prepared for you - Crysis On The Coast - RC1 Map-Mod

Crysis On The Coast is a combination of a map and mod. A Map-Mod, yeeahh... So, let me explain then. Yes, this is not RC2, it's still in development and needs more time to be released. To not feel guilty Sgor00 decided to make a map for RC1, so you may enjoy it while waiting for RC2 to be released. I really liked his idea and his map and I decided to add a little something from myself, which includes a lot of visual and audio enhancements similar to RC2 quality. We both hope you will enjoy this small New Year's gift from us. We both tried out best, we both put a lot of work into this and we hope you will like what we did.

[ Generals : Evolution ] Crysis On The Coast - RC1

Sgor00 has put a lot a ton of effort and heart into this project, so he wrote a story for this map, which will be the lore for all GenEvoRC2 missions. Here's it :

Two years after the Zero Hour campaign. Global Liberation Army had fragmented and China were dominating the whole continent. US forces went back home to healing their wounds. A Few days ago we found high activity near one of our naval bases on the Saudi Arabian coast near Tiran Island. The GLA are capturing this area and harassing us! They are trying to takeover our base! General, you must protect the base at all costs! This is the last supply route leading to our forces with in the sector! Good Luck General, we are counting on you.

You need to launch this map-mod from RC1 version of the mod, this is not the standalone release.

As for RC2, well, it's still in development, and still needs more time to be ready for a release. Things are going great with it, so don't worry much about it.

As for me, well, i won't gonna lie, life's being pretty tough, for both myself and my family, hell, for whole country. Apparently this happens when your country is ran by clowns and pseudo-patriotic garbage. I still have no job, or source of income, I've been freelancing a lot this year to help myself and my family. But, i haven't been able to do it without support of some people which offered material support through private messages, their donations helped me and my family to live through this year, and i will never forget their kindness, if not their help - RC2 would be made by someone else or even cancelled. You're true heroes and you will always take place in my heart.

I tried the RC1 and it was awesome, however Ive been having some stuttering issues. This is the first mod Ive tried for Red Alert 3 so I am not very knowledgeable about it.

Now that's something new. What's your PC specs? RA3 had never stutter one me, even on single core Athlon with GeForce 6800 ( one of the oldest pc's i owned ).

Nevermind. It was an issue with the GPU drivers. My Red Alert 3 was still using the built in Intel HD which i have not updated with Windows 10 compatibility. After downloading the correct drivers and using NVidia control panel to change the program's preferred GPU to the dedicated for extra measures, the game has now stabilized.

You should properly have a Alpha, or perhaps a close testing group.

I guess a release needs to be packaged up from the current build and then release, but from what i see in the pictures it looks great right now,(i know you only upload the great stuff /pictures ect), but a little teaser would be very nice, and would properly give your mod some more attention, wich hopefully would get you more patreon's :). Jusy my 5 cent's. :).

And again, i can't wait to play xD. Such good work.

xD, So good gameplay. Oh Also, The Scud Launcher moves around weirdly after having fired it's missile!, Still great job , great mod, and can't WAIT to play RC2.!

Yeah, that scud awkward dance have been fixed, i've spawned the toxin cloud from the weapon itself, rather than from missle, it worked fine, but game thought that cloud was spawned from the weapon fire position for some reason, and scud launcher was freaking out.

Hey,I played the RC1 Beta Release, and first the good,The models look good,it was amazing to see some actual gameplay with the units, i also liked the coast map/campaign, was good to have something that gave a representation of how the gameplay would work. That was the good, now some things did worry m.

The nuke launcher,
The way the nuke launcher act's now, is building placement, and the RA3 engine has a nasty way of handling this, As you might already have seen, if the unit(nuke cannon here), is not exactly on top, it will slide the last part to it's location, besides of that _ i personally _ don't like how you deploy it with a building placement marker ,i don't know how i feel about the nuke icon on the ground, part of the fun in CnC Zero hour, was sometimes escaping a scud or nuke cannon shot, and hope you got all your units out of the AOE range. and dependent on who you were (the guy fleeing with his troop or the guy who ordered the nuke cannon to attack), you would be like YEEEEAH or AWWWW ****!, Also im a little afraid the RA3 engine can't do this, a button deploy/deploy would be nice tho(like "Press F to deploy at current location and Press E to undeploy", the Nuke cannon had a nasty way of deploying and undeploying in Zero hour.

The Avenger,
the avenger has a rather unique ability the ability to shoot down enemy missiles, i did not see this ability in use, can the RA3 Engine actually do such things?.

The UI, i think i read somewhere you had the UI in place, but just in case, do you think the UI can be modded like you want it?, because i again personally don't like the RA3 ui.

And as a side note, I saw wind power turbines in the GLA screenshots, They look great, but if you intend to change the gameplay, could/would you consider making a evolution mode, and a standard Zero hour mode?.

Whatever you do i support you!!!, The mod looks amazing and handles okay in gameplay. I cannot wait for more release, if i can help in anyway just say so. And thank you!. When Generals 2 was canceled i also felt so sad, it looked to be so good, i just think that (EA those bastards), discovered that people wanted a fun successor to Zero Hour and not Esport's game.

I really love how you describe things, and i really appreciate your input c:

The nuke launcher now works as you might expect, it's "Press F to win deploy.

Same about avenger, in RC2 it acts as it supposed to, rc1 is very old and rushed.

Sadly, UI can't be modded, only reskinned, like we did with RC2, check the gallery, Sgor00 did a fantastic job on it.

Windmill can be either used for SCUD Storm only, or unused in skirmish at all, maybe as a capturable free energy source/Campaign only prop.

Again, thank you for you input and support, i'm really glad you enjoyed RC1 ( it must be hard to get enjoyment of that imo ) and enjoyed the coast map ( that was the main point of it ). I was sad that EA killed C&C 2013 too, i was in alpha, it was a fun game and the dev team put a ton of soul and effort in it, no matter what other people might say.
