A Red Alert 3 total conversion aiming to bring C&C Generals Zero Hour onto the new engine as well as to expand upon it.
A little bit of progress I did today during dev livestream on YouTube, full stream will be uploaded a bit later. Thanks to everyone who's been around :D
Animations by Slider.
almost perfect
That command center radar dish is really shiny :P
Personally, I think the radar dish animations might be a bit too fast, those flag animations are amazing though!
They're too fast, yeah. I'll need to separate dish from flag later on, so flag won't be affected by speed of dish.
Shouldn't Barracks be slightly smaller and WF - bigger?
These building with their original size, which, of course are editable. This pic is just animation demo :)
i dont think so
Good to see this mod still kicking. So far, it looks promising.
Gotta agree with Zeke, shouldn't radar be notably slower?
This is just a test. Some animations are faster, then should, but it's easy to fix
Really nice details and animations! I agree with Zeke and Damfoos though. Waiting for HD youtube video ;)
Nice work! Although, they do look a little same-ish...
Gunship MK II, a few suggestions, if I may:
The dish on the Command Center is still a bit too flat,
it should reflect signals towards the center, at this angle it does the opposite.
Could you add the electricity animations on the generators?
Not to the extent the Chinese generators display them when overcharged, but enough, as to add to the detail, and have them travel towards the transformer, also have them spawn at the highest power line pole, which, in this case, is blue.
I agree with Damfoos, the war factory should be bigger, and the barracks smaller.
You might consider reducing the size of all buildings & unit models, in order to create the illusion of greater space, akin to what the "C&C Zero Hour - Enhanced" developer did, and adding greater zoom in/out limit on all maps.
Could you add a bit more mass, bulkiness to the structures as well?
"C&C Untitled" developers hit the sweet spot, with this, in my opinion. No longer do the buildings look as barren and fragile, as vanilla models did, now they have walls and are slightly stronger to reflect this.
I, personally, really enjoyed this change, it felt a lot more army-like, no longer as bare bones, as the vanilla was.
Anyway, that last one is merely a suggestion, I understand you're pressed for time, and have problems I can not even imagine, given the country you live in.
Thank you for your time and effort, that you commit to this mod, despite that.
I'm looking forward to the eventual release, and given what you've accomplished thus far, you've already deserved a 10/10 in my book. :)
Best of regards, Destromath.
Thank you for extended reply :D
While I really can't do anything about buildings models, but I surely can enhance them with particle effects and make them less bland feature wise. I'll add smoke to smoke stacks, sparks and lovely glow to power plants, heat to ventilation shafts, all this cool stuff. Scale is pretty much temporary, I rushed making this .gif after stream and gone to bed at 6am, we'll resize everything later that's for sure. I absolutely adore both of those mods, and that will be the end goal for me to make them as good as in those mods, with tools and content available to me.
Thank you for your nice words and suggestions, I'll save them up in my todo list, we'll try to keep up :D

Эмм... это оптический обман или я вижу флаг России?
They all look super sharp.
Fine to see that work goes on :) it‘s good that you show little updates with pictures to keep the community of the mod alive. Better more pics from time to time as that very looong waiting for the next big Update.
Can‘t wait for the next RC (2.5?)
I loved to play the RC2 demo but can‘t See the original Buildings of RA3 anymore...
I‘m so excited as a little child.
Whish you all best and keep on that brilliant work.
