Lucas - twenty-five university student, successful, good friend and a groom. His girlfriend name is Marie and she is sick personality disorder. One day, Lucas comes home, and see that his girlfriend locked herself in the bedroom and refused to open the door or talk. Guy just heard from her that he is to blame. Lucas finds a way to contact her thrusting the notes under the door and get answers on it. In game, you will need re-live the moments when Lucas did something bad, and then try to fix it and talk about this Marie to seek her forgiveness, but should not tell everything. If you say something wromg, she's gonna kill herself...

8/10: I liked the puzzles and the difficulty, but put more hints to help the player a little bit. Interesting concept, I found many reused sounds and models such as Ellis and the Pills from the Left 4 Dead series, and some of the musicial tracks from Max Payne. The length of the first part dissappointed me, I know that this is Part 1 of the mod but I would like a little bit more length than 10 minutes (once you figure out the puzzels). I know that this mod is only made by one person, and I also know you are doing this out off your spare time. I would advise you that after you are done with this mod, is to make a Director's Cut, or patch it to include more hints, improvements to gameplay, voice acting (real or text-to-speech), back-story, etc...

But if you cannot afford to make those improvements, thos version is pretty good...

That was an interesting experience. Got a bit scared. The multiple ending is nice but the "peaceful" one is just telling too much. Also about the nurse : It's not me ! WTF I haven't done anything ! D:

Honestly I didn't find this to be worth it. It's well-made and all but the puzzles make no sense and are unintuitive. And the soundtrack choice seems like a bit of a joke to me.

ok so i finished it finally. if you play this mod look it up on youtube, because i can almost guarantee you you will have difficulty solving the majority of the puzzles. my last comment was more out of frustration than true. this isnt a first person shooter, don't follow fps rules. try interacting with EVERY surface you can in game (i.e. picking up/ pushing objects) to find a solution to the puzzles

can't believe what i've read.
FPS isn't just shooting and, well shooting. Nowadays, games have better graphics and better interactivity than 5 years ago, and making a game with that characteristics with the only objective of shooting is to waste interactivity and inmersion. it has no sense making a game with the interactivity of Half Life 2 or better and the action of CS. it is not intelligent to waste the whole idea if inmersion just to fire a gun "better".

Comatose is a well made, professional looking mod. The beginning is a little bit weird and I' ve needed more then one try coming trough the mod. But I was never at the point to give up. After all I made it to the end and I'm glad to see a sequel.

******* Cons ******* Obviously the translations are horrible, but you get the drift. The obnoxious screen hit/flinching gave me a headache and wasn't stressful or tense, it was just annoying. I'd seriously consider reducing that screen overlay or whatever to be less frequent and severe. If you wanted to make it tense you could add some low, but urgent music as a replacement. The color correction was bland. A simple gray tint to the game would have been just as good, probably better. The level layout…
