Colours is a co-op and single player map pack for Portal 2 which features custom textures, sounds, and a whole lot of fun puzzles which focus entirely on synesthesia, puzzle solving, and cooperation. Features custom music, sounds, and more. Each map will be released as it is completed in order creating a chronologically episodic release, where each map will link to the next and if it does not then it simply resets.

Progress is coming along on the co-op map pack for COLOURS - a mod for Portal 2 that introduces new themes, puzzle elements, and a grand sum of ideas I am mostly keeping secret. Apparently Mod DB prefers it if I just out-right explain everything so I'll try to share what I can.

Here now is a list of unique inventions Ian Boswell (that's me) will be applying to COLOURS:

APERTURE SCIENCE
CUSTOM MODULAR TOOLS
FOR ACHIEVING MAXIMUM SCIENCE:

1. THE EXCURSION FUNNEL REDIRECTOR PAD.
PLACE A PORTAL ON THIS PAD TO HAVE IT AUTO-REDIRECT AN EXCURSION FUNNEL.
Orange/Blue Lights Signify the Direction Of Your Excusion.
You could always look at the funnel itself but what's the fun in that?

2. THE MODULAR SPOTLIGHT PANNEL.
SHED SOME LIGHT ON THE SITUATION USING A MODULAR SPOTLIGHT PANNEL!
Redirect and navigate using buttons for up, down, left, and right movement!
Especially useful in dark rooms! We promise this light comes from somewhere!

3. ABANDONMENT CUBE.
IF YOU ABANDON THIS CUBE, IT WILL ABANDON YOU!
A sentient cube with feelings and abandonment issues.
A reset position is guaranteed if its feelings are hurt. (Already built a working model of this one)

4. FOUR-SIDED LASER BEAM PRISM CUBE.
NO THIS IS NOT THE COVER FOR A PINK FLOYD ALBUM.
Splits the beam in two of two whole ways!
Great for Co-op situations, or not-so great depending on your feelings about it.

5. LOG ROLLERS.
PART OF A HEALTHY BALANCED BALANCING ACT.
Run too slow and it won't push you off.
Run too fast and it will. What's so hard to understand about that? Oh. Two people...

6. SOLID LIGHT BRIDGES ON A TIMER (In a row, one after the other)
THIS ISNT ACTUALLY A NEW INVENTION SO MUCH AS JUST A REALLY GOOD IDEA.
Timing can be everything sometimes.
Or just being clumsy and lucky can work too.

7. CRUSHER ZONE
Stand in this area. Guess what... You will die! We'd say "Good luck" but those words would fall on your def, dead not-ears.
Good news is you can let your partner through to, hopefully, a safer spot right quick!
Comes with a timer and hazard lights and everything!

8. GEMINI CUBES
We tied these two cubes together with a slightly stretchy rope!
It can only go so far before it drags the other box with it!
Try thinking with portals :D

9. PORTALABLE BUTTONS
Because nothing says "get that box off me" like a flat surface!
Guaranteed to make you wonder what you're doing wrong frequently!

What happens when a pair of gemini cubes are going through a portal, and you move the portal to a different location while one portal was on one side of it and one on the other? Will the rope be molded into the wall :D?
