Colony : 5 will be a HL2 mod that relies heavily on teamwork, strong leaders, and crackshot individuals. The mod gameplay style's listed as RTS, but that's really for the leader of each side. The other will be be playing the game FPS still. There will be two sides (pretty obviously) Humans and Aliens. The leader of each side will give orders to their teammates to build structures required for tech upgrades that will aid them in annihilating the other. Some planned featuers: Top view and Starcraft style HUD for the commder/leaders Structure building and a resource system Using as many of the HL2 features to their fullest extent Interactive buildings - i want this game to push machines to the limit Drivable Vehicles Unique guns and devistating alien attacks Outdoor environment - i.e. realistic weather effects Completely Modular Base Management (you'll see what we mean) Addictive gameplay So imagine Starcraft or Warcraft... only moreso multiplayer, way more teamwork, and you...
