I assume the tricolor flag is a placeholder.
Its the default CA flag for late custom battles.
But is incorrect and should be changed. The tricolour didn't come about until the late 18th century after the French Revolution.

No. Late units are only available after you research late technologies.

LOL...The French Tricolor comes with the French Revolution and did not exist in the 1600s hahaha
