PC version of Modern Firearms 2.5 Beta-1.1 Version 2.5 preview: v2.5 is already running in alpha testing on 3dm forum, a beta testing on this site will be released after I have dealt with those found bugs. Talk to Ha_ru (Blackxteel on nexus) about ak anims. Has them working based off of meshes from the same source, and may be willing to offer them up for the kalashnikovs in this mod.

the AKs are called assault rifles and i cant modify them with the workbench i belive this is a bug or somthing

This is some more great work by the MF team/idlesheep. I have been using this mod forever...my biggest beef is the hand placement on some of the models, especially the bullpup rifles...it makes them unusable for me. I use both 3rd and 1st person views and if it doesnt look right in one of them...I wont use the weapon. The Tavor weapon in this update is a beautiful model, but unusable for me because of the hand placement. I hope this is something you are looking at fixing. I would just like to be able to use all of the amazing weapons in the mod before more are added. I always have your mod active in my load order and support the tons of work you are doing. Cant wait to see whats next.

I am having problems with the M14 rifle variants, It only fires one round and then does a mag change?

Any Ideas what could be causing this?.

I have Moderns Firearms loaded at the very bottom of my load list.

im having the same problem also the AKs are showing up as assault rifles and it doesnt let me modify them since it dosnt show up on the weapons workbench

I Installed the MK-14 Mod by DazzerFong and the Modern Firearms compatibility patch and it fixed it,And I want to say thank you very much again!!,Man Those Kryptek Camo options are simply Bad-***!! My new favorite armor and tactical sets right up there with the Rebel.

Hey man, I was wondering if you plan on adding some other sniper rifles, the ones add were a great addition, but I think you could add a couple more like the Cheytac M200 and the 6800B AX50. Anyway, great update for a great mod, keep it up Sheep!

I am uploading a Beta 1.1 archive, I am sorry that this update isn't completely done yet but fixed couple issues in previous version. (Generally speaking there are still issues in armor weighting, and probably the last thing before formal update - if you have any experience in making armors and willing to take a peek if something you are able to deal with, please shoot me a pm, thank you!)

I will be out of my country for a week or so, so please share your feedback of new beta version and I will see if anything needs to take care of when I come back. Thank you in advance.

Theres a weird bug with the BDUs, didnt notice other bugs, would be nice if you could fix that :) your mod is just awesome !<3 thanks for making it

Found some bugs on latest release beta 2.5

the military uniforms have some pink textures and sometimes the armor converts you in a bug :) , i found another bug, on sig sauer SG553R Custom, the Eothech 553 holographic sigh sometimes turn red(entire sight making you see nothing trought), i taked it out and re modify the sight and that solved it.

Proof of what happens on every bdu uniform i tried:

also i dont think its a bug because you can add armor pieces by modifing the BDU stealth fatiges on the workbench (buyed from mod machine) but i cant put my dragonfire vest over the stealth fatiges , which makes me go with unarmored BDU stealth fatiges with only esthetic armor, because modifing the fatiges do not give any armor bonus.

the mod is loaded at the botton of the load order.

I can confirm that I have the same glitch with BDUs. Seems to only effect male body types. I've seen female NPCs wearing the BDUs with out any problems.

BDUs are still WIP. Unfortunately mod author is busy IRL now. Try open CK/FO4Edit and change BDUs to vanilla Army fatigues or delete them from Levelled List to stop them to spawn on NPC's....

Jansperka how do you edit the BDUs ? I didnt use Fo4edit or CK.
Can you explain how to change bdus to vanilla army fatigues ? These pink textures are quite unimmersive though

Sorry, must say in this case I'm only repeating others ideas/solutions. I can handle very few things in FO4Edit, and almost none in CK. For myself I only deleted them from Levelled List. Try ask WykdGrl - she did it...

Those are not pink textures you are seeing, that is actually missing textures. When textures are missing on objects, they tend to be solid colored objects. Bright colors like pink are often used so that developers can easily spot if there are missing textures or spaces.

I really really love this mod! makes fallout 4 playble for me! I'm not a huge fan of the vanilla weapons or other weapon mods I've seen in nexus. I really like real weapons in the game just like your mods and you even added it to the lvld list so enemies can use it which is awesome! You guys really did a great job on this

Thanks for this mod! been using it since I came back to play fallout 4!

I have a suggestion though: It would be nice to add camo styles/options on guns too.

I have two quick questions...
1st: Do the AKs have interchangeable rails/butt stocks/receivers?
I have the mod I'm just not sure if something causing them not to appear in the workbench or if there isn't any intentionally.

2nd: The link for Modern Sidearms is broken, I know this isn't technically the same mod but I would really like to give them a shot too.

I just figured it out, the New Calibers patch for MF caused it in my case, which kinda sucks because I like the caliber ammunition. Idk if that's whats causing it for you, but if you have it try disabling it.

Also if you know how to use FO4Edit you can manually patch ammo from New Calibers over to MF. It didn't take me too long to do so and now I can use New Calibers alongside this mod.

The back wear (jetpack and pack) will show equip in pipboy, but when I exit it, they are unequipped. Is there a trick I am missing? Mod is at end of load order with Modern Sidearms below. On PC.

May be because of Modern Sidearms. MS was released with v.2.4; in 2.5beta are many internal changes, so it may have some issues. May be why MS link is disabled for now, before 2.5 reaches full version and MS will be tweaked...

Weird. Try load game only with MF? May be mod conflict. Works fine for me - at the bottom of load order, with CBBE and few basic outfit mods (Adventurer, Shorts, V.Girl Shorts, even with original CUTE...)

Unequip Pip-Boy causes the conflict. Uninstalled, new game works fine with MF gear.

Hello there idelesheeps and to all of you. On this latest 2.5 beta version, there is some bugs and glitches on some of the weapons. Like Scar-L, Tsearies (which is rife service) and maybe others doesn't appear when equipping the weapons even display of details on pip-boy than previous version 2.41. Also, some of the sniper weapons like AWR and some of them doesn't have a sound when firing the weapons. Also some of the animation can tweak it to help improve the reload animation like the shotgun reload animation where it reload so weird like a bolt-sniper reload animation (which it shouldn't be) and maybe improve the reload animation on assault rifles. If you curious to know how the reload animation for the pump-shotgun for fallout 4, there is a information about recent release of new pump-shotgun weapons that can reload new animation. I hope that you can contact this author or if you have another volunteer who may be able to make an animation for pump-shotgun or an improve version. Other wise some of new animation reload is good. I hope that you can continue your work to do the right thing.

Yep it looked to be load order. If I load it before TerminatorEN.esp then the pipboy appears ok. If I load it after then it disappears.
This is the mod www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/17585/ . I'm unsure what the conflict could be.
