This is the LATv Mk.1 Light Transport Vehicle. It is designed to transport and support Airborne forces who can not carry heavy vehicles and equipment on operations. There are several variations like a Mortar Carrier and Command Vehicles.
This one is the standard un-upgraded version of the vehicle. It is the one you get when calling it in. Due to the weight of the various upgrades it does not have them directly(lol, I had to think of an excuse :))
Now the bones need to be properly setup and UVW maps made. Then on to skinning and animating :) Then finally ingame!!! :D

Why a driving terminal, if the driver stays with a clean vision from the inside?
The thermal imaging camera is to spot enemies beyond the units normal sight radius. It is only a vision aid.
I can imagen a vast verienty of weapons for that transport. I keep coming back to M388...
