Eastern Front is a free mod for Company of Heroes. Following the ethos of mimicking a Relic Entertainment expansion pack, Eastern Front has succeeded in adding two full new factions, the Soviet Red Army and the German Ostheer, packed with unique and exciting units to the existing armies - a feat never before achieved in the Company of Heroes world.

The regular Ferdinand didn't have an MG on it, the modified Elefant did.

wow a great tank contrary to popular belief the elefant was great. More losses was with mechanical problems and stuff, rarely did happen that enemy tanks took it out. I hope mine doesn't break down in combat.

Are the soviets able to climb on the tanks and torch them like in real life? or is this just me rambling.

Some of you need to read up on your history. This tank was anything but fail, but it was made in very very small numbers. Basically they took the Tiger testing chassis they had left over and turned them into tanks.
"On the first day of action, we successfully engaged bunkers, infantry, field and anti-tank artillery positions. For three hours our guns (Ferdinands) fought in the cavalcade of enemy fire and proved to be immune to enemy fire !. In the evening of the first day, first enemy tanks were destroyed, while others retreated. Crews of field and anti-tank guns run away after firing few uneffective shots against our guns (Ferdinands). In first engagements our regiment (656 sPanzerjager Regiment) destroyed numerous artillery positions, bunkers as well as 120 enemy tanks..." - Report from July 19th of 1943 by Platoon commander Boehm.

I'm missing upgrades on the german side... This tank is great and all but it's not so many upgrades for the germans. only a few tanks. the soviets are powning at the moment and i get really annoyed by that. i want to see a change to this!
