Problems Running the Mod Thread - Company of Heroes: Eastern Front mod for Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts

I've been having difficulty getting the mod to run properly. The problem seems to happen whenever I load a map, as the map will finish loading and one of two things will happen. It will either immediately take me back to the main menu, or an error window will pop up at which time I must alt tab out and the game crashes. This used to only happen occasionally, so I tried reinstalling the mod, but after doing so the problem happens every time. Any ideas as to what could be happening would be most appreciated.

Have you updated the original(& eastern front) COH to the latest version? Does this problem occur on all maps? I also had a similar problem twice, but the reason was I downloaded a map not included in the original COH and the Eastern Front mod. It was a map issue.

I haven't seen anything relating to this, so im gonna ask here: How would I make my own desktop icon for eastern front? I have figured out how to create an icon for Republic at War, but cannot seem to find the data/files necessary to do so for EF. Could i please get some suggestions or help?

I have got a problem considering the TEMP folder... I played TOV normally (no performance, stutter, memory issues) but ever since I installed this mod i get crashes. The Following: Loading a skirmish map 3/4 % loads and then a window pops up saying that he fucking can't write an error message because temp folder is missing memory... I checked it manually and used ADVANCED SYSTEM CARE 5.0 PRO to clean it up... no luck

The strange thing is that this doesn't occur when I load a campaign map ... memory problem! I know! any solutions??

ok now i have shortcut, but when i install the mod, the launcher shortcut doesnt appear -- this is extremely annoying, because then i have install it over and over everytime and then i have update it over and over

what's happening to Barbarossa_5 is also happening to me but the link you put doesn't help!!

That means you are using the 32 bits of windows and you are facing problems with memory management. We cannot do anything about it, it is the limit of 32 bits OSs and if you continue getting this problem regardless of increasing your virtual memory and lowering your graphical settings, the only thing left I can recommend is to use the 64 bits version that is already recommended in that same link .

Would be better if you post your warnings.log file here(or in the EF forums bugs & support section). You can find it on "My documents\My Games\Company of Heroes".
