A brand new month and a brand new Spotlight! This new video setup has been introduced to combat the most common complaints that the old style Spotlight video had, which included too short gameplay videos, not enough information and where viewers can get the mods (once the video was embedded or put on external sites).
This new video is more of an experiment to see how you guys react, I am open to suggestions on what I can do to improve the videos just comment below.
I will now part with a little bit of trivia, this is the start of the third year that the Spotlight has been going for. Here is too another two!

I fell in love with DaggerXL when i saw it here. Too bad it's only a mod.
The game is free from Bethesda's website though. I'm honestly waiting for the mountain ranges and the 200 mile draw distance that's going to be in it. Oh and it's not a mod, it's the game in another engine with the features Bethesda didn't have time to make.

You need the transitions between each of the games back, just to split them up a bit.
And an outro for the end of the video.

My fault, but still ... I like that kind of presentation better than the new one.

I think you should still do that.
That is, read the title of the game/mod and whether it's an update (Version number, Alpha/beta) or a new release (And the date it was released).
It made for a good (Very clear) transiton from game to game, made it feel very professional/informative and you do have a good narrating voice too.
Most importantly, it added a bit more personality to the videos. It made it so that it's not just a video compilation of different games, but an actual (moddb original) show that presents a list of games.
So please, reintroduce the narration in the next months Spotlight.

I like the new format, it's pretty informative, but I kinda miss Henley's little narration. :P

Hmm, agree with the fellows saying that they miss the narration that mentioned whether it was a update or a release. Also, the rocket flying over the screen made it a very sharp and clean transition. However, I do like the new format and its extra info and extended view of the gameplay. Now I don't have to go to the mod page to understand the general idea of it.

I really love the longer gameplay and the bars at the bottom with more information, but I do miss the narration. And the transitional-rocket was a great staple of the spotlight, you should bring that back.
Just maybe add sound effects to the transition, if even it is faint. The absolute silence was a little odd.
Forgotten Hope 2 deserves more.

But the better/longer footage and the bottom info slate are ftw!
Love the added Info at the bottom, but I miss the talking. it just doesn't seem "personal" anymore. But thats just me.
Now this is a great lineup for May. Zombie Zoo in particular made me smile. :3
