7 new races, new units and features for the original 9 races. With the mission to bring all races to Dawn of War, in the style of their Codex, drawing inspiration from the Table Top Game. The complete collection of the Codex Mod to date.

Codex mode is good but if you put "Steel Legion" or "Thousand Sons" in the concept would be a for 10 and yet I saw mod for Dark Crusade "Witch Hunters" with super models and "inquisition Demon Hunter" mod is excellent with this codex woud be beast mod ever. My sugestions

It was 2006 when i bought Company of Heroes: the reason why I did this? THERE WAS THE FIRST DAWN OF WAR GAME! (I never played CoH, but I will do... in very distant future!)
However, after some years I bought all the other 3 originals expansions, and when I completed them, I start my quest for the perfect MOD.
So, I found codex 3.5.
Codex is probabily the best mod ever made for Soulstorm (and so for Dawn of war too). As a matter of that, this mod has two distinctive features that makes it special:
1. Lot of new units for the standard factions with lots of customization options (hell, choosing your Chaos Deity is a true tactical innovation!)
2. New Factions to use, and also the likelihood to mix other factions mods togheter, making play Dawn of war closer to his miniatures counterpart.
So, the perfect Mod? Almost...
If I have to be quite honest, I found some flaws.
First of all, most of the new Factions included by the mods itself have not a great "visive" impact: I really enjoyed play with the Adeptus Mechanicus, but When I saw the "skitarii" (that are simplu kasrkin unit), I Was quite deluded. Also Grey Knights was a bitter surprise: I mean, they were made very well, but the stand-alone Mod "Inquisition_daemonhunt" is in my opinion superior. (Still, Lost and Damned, Chaos Daemons and all special chapters are amazing!)
Secondly, some of the original factions received little updates, like Tau and Necron. This make using these factions not satisfactory enough.
BUT, You have also to recongnize that Codex is a Work in project: the team under this great MOD costantly works to make a perfect game, so I'm sure that in future most of the "flaws" I spotted will be fixed in future... And considering some of the new "add-a-faction" mods incoming (like Adeptus Mechanicus), well, You have just to wait!
Really good job: keep on this track!

What justification do I need? It's a god-awesome mod. It's as simple as that.
So, go. Download. Or I'll accuse you of HERESY! >:D
