Expansions to the original 9 races:

Faction choices for:

Chaos Legions - 9 Original Traitor Legions and Renegades
Space Marines - Remaining 6 First Founding Legions, and 3 Second Founding Legions
Eldar - 6 most famous Craftworlds
Orks - The 6 major Clans
New units and characters for all the original races.

Installation Instructions:

1. Delete the codex folder and the code.module file in your Soulstorm directory.
2. Download both parts 1 and 2 of the Codex Base Code.
3. Extract both parts to your SS directory.
4. Download and extract Codex 3.5 to your Soulstorm directory.

5. Select “Dawn of War: Codex (3.5)” from the Game Manager.

There is a combiner module file for using in conjunction with the Tyranids (vs 0.51b) and the Black Templars (beta 5) mods included in the extracted folder,
but you will NEED these 2 great mods installed separately.

NOTE: The new races are not the same as other independently released versions, just to avoid confusion. These are the Codex versions, developed separately.

Hey everyone,

Just thought everyone deserved to know what's going on with the mod, since we've been rather quiet lately.

Unfortunately, about a month or two back, boothy had an accident, hence his inactiveness. Fortunately, he's made good recovery, and will return to work when ready. This should be relatively soon, but nothing is guaranteed.

Furthermore, deathwatch, our texturer, is having real life issues (the bane of modders). Therefore, we're unsure as to when he'll be back, but we doubt it will be any time soon.

Thanks very much of the continued suggestions (we'll get to work on them ASAP) and patience,

But Im playing in skirmmish and I dont believe the addons "Hero's" "Apocalypse" or "Massive Battles" are working either. Or are these mods not suppose to even be there? Just wondering why none of the squads had the little number on the right side of the screen indicating the level of the squad?

the hotfix is in the downloads section, BT and nids are elsewhere on ModDB. They are developed by other mod teams

It would be kool to have a hive society that functions with wings from birth to adulthood - from worker drones to military drones to leader drones! All having their many versions of weapons never seen before - hand held to mega death machines!... Adaptus Mechanicus Chapter by the way appears basic in nature and lacking many overall powerful units. Thats my gripe of the day, heh heh

Ta. If I could I would take out all the titans, but mentioned it once and got moaned at by people, so coming up with a win condition to control their use, so can have a normal game, or go titan mental and balance goes to pot really.....
But the choice will be there....

yeah bug. That has been removed for next update. Was an idea of doing a sorcerer coven for TS. Dunno if that could be balanced though

TX dude, I've done quite a bit to the 4 'cult' legions, but on the look out for good ideas to differentiate the undivided ones. IW and WB are the hardest to do IMO. No special marine types, lots of slaves......

You can look on Warsmiths Dark Prophecy mod he have many thinks for Iron Warriors and for the other Chaos chapters.
