Expansions to the original 9 races:

Faction choices for:

Chaos Legions - 9 Original Traitor Legions and Renegades
Space Marines - Remaining 6 First Founding Legions, and 3 Second Founding Legions
Eldar - 6 most famous Craftworlds
Orks - The 6 major Clans
New units and characters for all the original races.

Installation Instructions:

1. Delete the codex folder and the code.module file in your Soulstorm directory.
2. Download both parts 1 and 2 of the Codex Base Code.
3. Extract both parts to your SS directory.
4. Download and extract Codex 3.5 to your Soulstorm directory.

5. Select “Dawn of War: Codex (3.5)” from the Game Manager.

There is a combiner module file for using in conjunction with the Tyranids (vs 0.51b) and the Black Templars (beta 5) mods included in the extracted folder,
but you will NEED these 2 great mods installed separately.

NOTE: The new races are not the same as other independently released versions, just to avoid confusion. These are the Codex versions, developed separately.

Hey everyone,

Just thought everyone deserved to know what's going on with the mod, since we've been rather quiet lately.

Unfortunately, about a month or two back, boothy had an accident, hence his inactiveness. Fortunately, he's made good recovery, and will return to work when ready. This should be relatively soon, but nothing is guaranteed.

Furthermore, deathwatch, our texturer, is having real life issues (the bane of modders). Therefore, we're unsure as to when he'll be back, but we doubt it will be any time soon.

Thanks very much of the continued suggestions (we'll get to work on them ASAP) and patience,

Did u get yours to work? How did u do it? Had Added the Hotfix 3.1, appears simple enough but somethings missing. Is that compiler module same as the Codex.module dated May 8th found inside the Codex folder?

Yes, but you have to change both in order for it to work (just edit one then copy it, also note you might have to edit some security settings in the file's properies in order to edit it if you're running Win 7).

Hmmm...Tyranids & Black Templars dont show up in the army painter & mod itself. What do i have to do to make it work? They run fine in other mods that support it. Need my Tyranid caffine fix & the read me didnt help.

you install the mods like normal then copy and paste only the module files of tyranid mod and black templars in the codex mod map

Yeah it does play well until i finished playing with the Grey Knights and went back to the main menu & was greeted with a pink box & written in was BAD MODEL. There was no picture of any Grey Knight, just a pink box. Gonna try again & see what happens. Great funfactor!

Freaking sweet bro! Dont suppose those blood claw squads for the wolves will be getting thier full 15 man size? Other than that this mod is freaking sweet. WOuld liked a few more bits from the wolf sprue but still, freaking awesome.

TX dude. They can do if demanded, but not at the beginning (balance reasons), the ones from wolves claw in tier 3 are larger, and could go to 15 with squad cap going to 3.
