Chaos Renegades (The Lost and the Damned)
Grey Knights
Adeptus Mechanicus
Blood Angels
Space Wolves
Dark Angels

Expansions to the original 9 races:

Faction choices for:

Chaos Legions - 9 Original Traitor Legions and Renegades
Space Marines - Remaining 6 First Founding Legions, and 3 Second Founding Legions
Eldar - 6 most famous Craftworlds
Orks - The 6 major Clans
New units and characters for all the original races.

Installation Instructions:

1. Delete the codex folder and the code.module file in your Soulstorm directory.
2. Download both parts 1 and 2 of the Codex Base Code.
3. Extract both parts to your SS directory.
4. Download and extract Codex 3.5 to your Soulstorm directory.

5. Select “Dawn of War: Codex (3.5)” from the Game Manager.

There is a combiner module file for using in conjunction with the Tyranids (vs 0.51b) and the Black Templars (beta 5) mods included in the extracted folder,
but you will NEED these 2 great mods installed separately.

NOTE: The new races are not the same as other independently released versions, just to avoid confusion. These are the Codex versions, developed separately.

Hi everyone,

It's been a long time since any news was released, and there has been a good reason for that: frankly, there has not been any.

However, I can now reveal that work has been resumed, although at a slow pace. Deathwatch78 has generously found time in his busy schedule to give some time to modding, and will therefore be working on new eye candy for the next version. This also means anything which did not make it into 3.5 will be in the next version. On the other hand, the gameplay element is still on hold due to the absence of boothy_p.

Thank you for your support and patience,

So like i dont know if ive made a HUGE noob blunder here however i have downloaded all three of the base parts of this mod to install them before the latest patch as instructed from the provided links .. however upon opening these rar files discovered that despite being labelled parts 1-3 there content is ALL exactly duplicate and so when trying to move them to the dawn of war folder they attempt to replace one another or rename themselves .. what should i do? as i have no idea if them being relabelled will impare there functionality :/

the content may look similar across the 3 part (way winrar does it when breaking down into set sizes).
so, delete any codex folder in your soulstorm mod, then get your download, highlight all 3, right click and extract to your soulstorm folder. Then extract the hotfix.
Overwrite all when asked. Should be ok.

I'm liking this mod so far. Haven't played everything yet, but what I've played I've liked. Just a lot of little things (no range errors, daemon build unit turns boxy when repairing stuff, absence of descriptions, etc.).

I do have a request though. Could you put in a hardcore option please?

hardcore option, in what way do you mean?
Yeah, sorry about those errors, I know about the daemon builders, and text wasn't really high on my list, hence the ones with no description. That is my solution I'm afraid......

What deathteam said. The first one anyway. It makes things intense.

Don't worry about that other stuff too much.

Done already? You are either super faster than me or you did not do something right, you have to add every single entity to the list of hardcore mode.

Uh... just saying, of course. :)

but, you know the following command:
DIR /B /O:N /S > filename.txt
at command line. extract all your entities into a dummy mod, then use this, all your entities in a text file....

Like on UA I expect; everything has less health and does more damage (opposite of the softcore mode pritty much).

And thanks Vorga ;)

Is it possible to make the softcore/hardcore conditions apply to just human players? Because as I see it, if it gives everyone the same advantage/disadvantage, there's no point of having it :P Also it would be cool to have some really tough SMs holding off against loads of insane difficulty enemies tyranids ;)
