Expansions to the original 9 races:

Faction choices for:

Chaos Legions - 9 Original Traitor Legions and Renegades
Space Marines - Remaining 6 First Founding Legions, and 3 Second Founding Legions
Eldar - 6 most famous Craftworlds
Orks - The 6 major Clans
New units and characters for all the original races.

Installation Instructions:

1. Download both parts 1, 2, and 3 of the Codex Base Code.
2. Extract all 3 parts to your SS directory (see tutorial -
3. Download and extract Codex 3.6 to your Soulstorm directory.

4. Select “Dawn of War: Codex (3.6)” from the Game Manager.

There is a combiner module file for using in conjunction with the Tyranids (vs 0.51b) and the Black Templars (beta 5) mods included in the extracted folder,
but you will NEED these 2 great mods installed separately.

NOTE: The new races are not the same as other independently released versions, just to avoid confusion. These are the Codex versions, developed separately.

OK, so 3.6(beta) is out........
It was a bit of a rush job, with most of the changes done over the last week, but they seemed to all work OK, so just drop me a message if anythings wrong (except descriptions :) )

A few things to note though:

"Allow Allies" needs to be activated to get the allies buildings in the advanced build menu.

"Allow Titans" is gone as a win condition.

"Escalation" allows titans, and bumps the pop cap up 50%.

"Apocalypse" allows titans, and bumps the pop cap up 100%.

(Don't use the 2 together - you'll get a SCAR error)

I don't know what's next, there's a massive list (well, there isn't actually, but a lot of ideas).No new full races though for now, the current lot still need work, and it takes to long to build a race for my free time at present.

New Allies though - defo!

Anyway, I hope the downloads work OK, get annoying when they get screwed up..........

It's vanilla gameplay with codex races and units. Deathteam answered the others. POK continues the TT approach into soulstorm.

FOK was the masterpiece of the all dow mods and fok had the dffrent play style diffrent morale system diffrent divide system diffrent controls, FOK was the diffrent from the every mod =D XD

There's many good things about that mod, but there's some things I don't like, like making infantry units smaller and armored unites larger. Then you have that ****** camera, which is hard to get used to, at least for me, and when you look at your guardsmen, they look like army of ants. I hope they don't do such things with this mod.

I think what sokkur is asking is whether you change the mechanics or just add new units. because FoK had major reworkings of the games mechanics

On a side note(sorry if I am asking this too many times) when you research new armor upgrades for example would it be possible to change the models of an squad to more armored version or could it just be implemented as a wargear(we have the models to do this but I don't know if the engine can do this)?

You can do it with models that are designed to do it. The randomized ones aren't so it could be done if the models were done again......

models would represent the entire squad while not upgraded
but with the armor upgrade a well armored variant of the randomized models would replace it.

That funny I got the 3.3, but I can still play the campaign, I not had any problems with it becuase I been Playing as Chaos and enjoying it.

If you have 3.3 installed properly, and codex is the main mod, you should have no campaign option available!
So Brikkfist wins :)
I'm almost completely positive it will crash in places too...

I not sure what happen, I did installed it properly, I did have problem with a UI, when try to installed it kept saying it could not find UI, there was some eles it cound't find, I don't know what it was.

Might be worth re-downloading it and trying again, but then if your enjoying the campaign then maybe not. But, if it crashes on you, don't report it to me ;)
Plan is for a full version for the next release anyway.

5th now going into 6th mainly. With a bit of nostalgia for 2nd..........
Model availability is the only thing stopping more being done, and closer to the current codex versions, see the necron discussion below (thanks Doofus for the necron shout)
