Chaos Legions - 9 Original Traitor Legions and Renegades
Space Marines - Remaining 6 First Founding Legions, and 3 Second Founding Legions
Eldar - 6 most famous Craftworlds
Orks - The 6 major Clans
New units and characters for all the original races.


Installation Instructions:

1. Delete the codex folder and the code.module file in your Soulstorm directory.
2. Download both parts 1 and 2 of the Codex Base Code.
3. Extract both parts to your SS directory.
4. Download and extract Codex 3.5 to your Soulstorm directory.

5. Select “Dawn of War: Codex (3.5)” from the Game Manager.

There is a combiner module file for using in conjunction with the Tyranids (vs 0.51b) and the Black Templars (beta 5) mods included in the extracted folder,
but you will NEED these 2 great mods installed separately.

NOTE: The new races are not the same as other independently released versions, just to avoid confusion. These are the Codex versions, developed separately.

Hi everyone,

It's been a long time since any news was released, and there has been a good reason for that: frankly, there has not been any.

However, I can now reveal that work has been resumed, although at a slow pace. Deathwatch78 has generously found time in his busy schedule to give some time to modding, and will therefore be working on new eye candy for the next version. This also means anything which did not make it into 3.5 will be in the next version. On the other hand, the gameplay element is still on hold due to the absence of boothy_p.

Boothy took them out to stop the Tau AI from crashing. Why they still show up in the army painter is beyond me.

I removed the squads when fixing the AI, not the entities. Easier to put back in afterwards, hence why they are in the army painter.
They will be back (in some form) check the change log of future releases for when.

I am still trying to get my head around the Allies System... I like the use of the Inquisition landing pad forces to bring in kill teams, etc, but I feel using all these other combinitations is going to detract a bit from the feel of how the different races want to exterminate one another. Not to rain on this idea too much, I would consider limiting some of the allies that may be recruited.

Perhaps also only being able to recruit one or two units from another faction?

Totally see you point dude, needs to be handle carefully. ATM 1 ally at a time only, with restricted unit selections available (otherwise it would take years to do). Tell you what, have a look at an early version here:http://www.moddb.com/members/boothy-p
It's in a separate module file so won't interfere with the current build.
