Expansions to the original 9 races:

Chaos Legions - 9 Original Traitor Legions and Renegades

Orks - The 6 major Clans
New units and characters for all the original races.

Installation Instructions:

1. Delete the codex folder and the code.module file in your Soulstorm directory.
2. Download both parts 1 and 2 of the Codex Base Code.
3. Extract both parts to your SS directory.
4. Download and extract Codex 3.5 to your Soulstorm directory.

5. Select “Dawn of War: Codex (3.5)” from the Game Manager.

There is a combiner module file for using in conjunction with the Tyranids (vs 0.51b) and the Black Templars (beta 5) mods included in the extracted folder,
but you will NEED these 2 great mods installed separately.

NOTE: The new races are not the same as other independently released versions, just to avoid confusion. These are the Codex versions, developed separately.

Hi everyone,

It's been a long time since any news was released, and there has been a good reason for that: frankly, there has not been any.

However, I can now reveal that work has been resumed, although at a slow pace. Deathwatch78 has generously found time in his busy schedule to give some time to modding, and will therefore be working on new eye candy for the next version. This also means anything which did not make it into 3.5 will be in the next version. On the other hand, the gameplay element is still on hold due to the absence of boothy_p.

Hmmm...there seems to be a problem for other people aswell; I just tested it and I get a 'Forbidden 403' message, and someone commented on the codex complete page saying the links arn't working...

As far as I know no but in near future I plan on releasing a campaign mod which will be something you have never seen before just have not had much time been working on codex mod and UA mod but once I get a break I will start finishing my mod orks,eldar and tau are 90 percent done if boothy has had a chance to try my test run he might have some things to say about my style of game play personally there is nothing out there that will be like it well anyways cheers.

hey gk is looking good Man the aruas I gave them are unbelievable I changed my mind again just putting in a few units also just changing fx for existing abilities trying to keep it a drop in and your done just with my idle fx and arua gk looks so good might want to sell it on ebay. I will put up a video to showcase.

It's vanilla gameplay with codex races and units. Deathteam answered the others. POK continues the TT approach into soulstorm.

FOK was the masterpiece of the all dow mods and fok had the dffrent play style diffrent morale system diffrent divide system diffrent controls, FOK was the diffrent from the every mod =D XD

There's many good things about that mod, but there's some things I don't like, like making infantry units smaller and armored unites larger. Then you have that ****** camera, which is hard to get used to, at least for me, and when you look at your guardsmen, they look like army of ants. I hope they don't do such things with this mod.

I think what sokkur is asking is whether you change the mechanics or just add new units. because FoK had major reworkings of the games mechanics

On a side note(sorry if I am asking this too many times) when you research new armor upgrades for example would it be possible to change the models of an squad to more armored version or could it just be implemented as a wargear(we have the models to do this but I don't know if the engine can do this)?

You can do it with models that are designed to do it. The randomized ones aren't so it could be done if the models were done again......

How about if one low armored variant of the randomized
models would represent the entire squad while not upgraded
but with the armor upgrade a well armored variant of the randomized models would replace it.
