Expansions to the original 9 races:

Faction choices for:

Chaos Legions - 9 Original Traitor Legions and Renegades
Space Marines - Remaining 6 First Founding Legions, and 3 Second Founding Legions
Eldar - 6 most famous Craftworlds
Orks - The 6 major Clans
New units and characters for all the original races.


Installation Instructions:

1. Delete the codex folder and the code.module file in your Soulstorm directory.
2. Download both parts 1, 2, and 3 of the Codex Base Code.
3. Extract both parts to your SS directory.
4. Download and extract Codex 3.6 to your Soulstorm directory.

5. Select “Dawn of War: Codex (3.6)” from the Game Manager.

There is a combiner module file for using in conjunction with the Tyranids (vs 0.51b) and the Black Templars (beta 5) mods included in the extracted folder,
but you will NEED these 2 great mods installed separately.

NOTE: The new races are not the same as other independently released versions, just to avoid confusion. These are the Codex versions, developed separately.

OK, so 3.6(beta) is out........
It was a bit of a rush job, with most of the changes done over the last week, but they seemed to all work OK, so just drop me a message if anythings wrong (except descriptions :) )

A few things to note though:

"Allow Allies" needs to be activated to get the allies buildings in the advanced build menu.

"Allow Titans" is gone as a win condition.

"Escalation" allows titans, and bumps the pop cap up 50%.

"Apocalypse" allows titans, and bumps the pop cap up 100%.

I don't know what's next, there's a massive list (well, there isn't actually, but a lot of ideas).No new full races though for now, the current lot still need work, and it takes to long to build a race for my free time at present.

New Allies though - defo!

Anyway, I hope the downloads work OK, get annoying when they get screwed up..........

Nope, it'll work fine with them. In fact, if you read this: Moddb.com , you can add BTs to Codex. :)

First of all, I think it's suitable to congratulate the whole team, in particular Boothy (i'm not saying DW didn't do a great job on it- he did, and deserves all the praise he receives), rather than just thanking one member and then criticising the guy who makes it all possible. Anyway, I don't mean to offend you in anyway, and am sure you do appreciate boothy's efforts. :)

Regarding the credits, I assume you have a specific mod in mind? If you read the information above, it says "To anyone I might have missed, sorry (tell me, and I'll update)". We don't intentionally forget anyone, it's just it can be hard to list everything that you use.

Wanted to point out really great deathwatchs´ work, in case of the rest yeah I´ve could be nicer but lets say it was done this way on purpose to clearly show how such ignorance boothy does looks from other perspective (it´s not a first time I told boothy to update credits even with explanation whats missing. It wasn´t complete list but boothy didn´t even tried to take a look).

I´m definitely sure that you are using more than IDH Combat Servitor and WH few inquisitorial units. Boothy wasn´t even capable of updating CodexCompleteCredits.txt file with IDH combat servitor which I´ve pointed out long time ago (and it was the reason why credit section here was updated). I understand that it´s not easy to track who-did-what but that´s not excuse especially after I told him to take a look on these two specific mods what exactly he uses if he wants to point them out instead of simply thanking for some mod assets (like most of mods does).

Sorry for rant but this is ridiculous. You aren´t bunch of amateurs moders so why is this such problem ?

PS: Seriously congratz to whole team for an update.

Anyway, obviously real life comes before virtual, so I hope everything is resolved and that one day you'll be back.

Drunk half the time? I can assure you that I drink less than most people here...especially modlord1 ;)
